Same shit different day.
I've defended Jackson in the past. He played in 3 different positions today and was nothing more than a passenger. The game just passed him by.
More long ball shite, again time after time......it doesn't work, but we just continue to do it.
The only real positive was that Botaka came on and did ok - needs to be in the starting 11 now.
Slade is an absolute joke. I just hope Roland is as trigger happy with him as he has been with others. As for who comes in? I fail to see that person being as tactically inept as Rusty - he makes Fraeye look half decent. The negativity astounds me.6 -

I joined the match thread late, took one look at the line up and expected the worst. What are we doing being so negative? It hasn't worked up to now, it needs changing, in fact it needs the opposite of Curbs' famous back to basics. We have players that scored for fun last year but at Charlton can't even make the starting lineup.
Has Slade always been the same? I don't know.4 -

The way Slade sets up you can't expect anything else. I take the apparent love-in between him and Meire with a pinch of salt and wouldn't believe a word either of them says... With Vale & the Gills to come I reckon we'll be lucky to scrape 3 points this month - but then I wouldn't even bet on us beating Coventry. A new era and L2 beckons... Slade told us we needed a reaction. We got a portion of bad aids. Up there with the worst 90 mins I ever seen from a Charlton side.
There is no spirit, there is no fight and there is no discernible game plan (other than hoofing it foward aimlessly).
Slade is clueless.
The central midfield is possibly the worst I have seen in my 38 years supporting them.
I'm seriously worried. Make no mistake there is a real possibility that we are in for a relegation battle.
If this keeps up I reckon Slade has 5-6 games before he gets the boot. He is msking the words "horror show" his own.6 -
