Our old mate Alan Nixon back tracking saying that Sheff Utd have left it to late and that a deal has now been agreed between Charlton , Crewe and the player
Where’s this? Can’t see it on his Twitter account.
Someone has made up a story that someone else made up a story.... We've finally reached Peak Bullshit.

No mate it’s on social media
send us the link please (unless you saw someone on social media say they saw it on Twitter and it was made up)
Sheffield United will have to move fast if they are to secure a deal to bring Charlie Kirk to Bramall Lane this summer.
he talk?
That’s according to a claim made by Alan Nixon, with The Sun journalist revealing on Twitter that, if Slavisa Jokanovic’s side will have to act quickly to get a deal done for the Crewe Alexandra winger this summer, with Charlton Athletic believed to have reached a £500k agreement for the transfer of the 23-year-old.

That's not nearly the same as what you said earlier

Old news - I think it's a given that we were talking to Kirk and had agreed a deal with Crewe. All Nixon is doing is saying SU (replace with any other team) will have to act quickly (i.e. before the pen is put to the contract).
Where does it say that they have left it too late and the deal is irreversibly done?

That's days old.
Anyway.........still waiting for you to produce links to those articles that apparently appeared in the Plymouth local press about our 'substantial bids' for Jephcott.

League One and League Two clubs will be limited their squad size to 22 players for the 2020/21 season. This will be reduced to 21 and 20 in subsequent seasons (2021/22 and 2022/23 season respectively). Players aged under the age of 20 are exempt from these restrictions.
We're in the 21/22 season mate. Changed the bold bit.
So there's little point in signing a million players when only 21 seniors can be in your squad. It's just a waste of money.
This I'm sure was thrown out along with the wage cap

Wage cap went, squad limit didn't despite objections from the PFA amongst others.
This is particularly funny if you know this little story.
The real Ronnie Moore was the victim of a hoax call about becoming the manager of Ipswich back in the day. As he was at Rotherham at the time it was mildly embarrassing for him.

Yes, you might say that 2 of the loanees came in for Oztumer & Maddison, but I'm pretty sure we would have taken up our "quota" of 5 loans anyway, even if they had stayed.
So, from 16 players (or call it 14 if you really want to) we secured the services of 6 of them (Watson, Pearce, JFC, Matthews, Stockley & Famewo) and then signed 3 more (MacGillivray, Dobson & Clare). So we are down by at least 5. 7 by my maths.... but have it your way.
Oh.... and btw - 1 of the 9 is currently injured(JFC) so if I gave you the 14 you can give me back 1. So we are down 6. Then we were told that Watson & Pearce were going to be bit part players & were not going to be playing week in week out.
As someone earlier pointed out - I get a lot of stick on here but at least I am consistent. I got a hell of abuse a month ago for saying that Duchatalet (for all his faults- and there were loads) did (at first) support the manager with signings.
If TS hadn't have "saved us" and had merely bought the club from Duchatalet in Jan 2020 instead of ESI then I'm sure he would be getting a rougher ride than he is currently.
I think everyone agreed we are 5-6 players light. I also have no doubt we will see that many come in. We have 4 loan spaces to use up plus a second keeper spot and a perm signing.

Clearly being posted for a reaction and he gets it every single time.

Do you write for Old Moore's Almanack?

Pratley
Shinnie
Amos
Aneke
Watson
JFC
Matthews
Pearce
Famewo
Smith

Oztumer.
16 players.
