League 1 scores

Fuck Ipswich ..... millwall  and palace are our rivals they both sit 14th in the championship and premiership respectively as we continue to slosh about in league fucking one .

its the 14th season and counting since we fell out of the prem and last finished above palace .
The longest run in our history since we first entered league football in 1921 of finishing below them twunts before these shameful times was 10 seasons 1965-74 

since we first entered league football in 1921 (yes 100 years) and spent the first 8 seasons in the third tier finishing below millwall ( after our first promotion we stopped that in our first season of 2nd tier football ) our worse spell of finishing below them has been 6 consecutive seasons 1970-75 , unless we get promoted or they get relegated next season will equal that shitness of 6 seasons below the scum , shameful 

we are living in appallingly historical times for Charlton Athletic Football Club , please don’t try and kid yourselves
and if you know your history it’s enough to make your heart go whoooooooaaaaaaaaaaaah we’re shit aaaaaaah

Honestly not sure what that was about but that player (was it Judge?) looked like a small kid compared to the ref.

Nothing to do with the Judge & Drysdale incident last night but I’ve played against Pat Rice in a Vets Match they also had very speedy and useful inside forward by the name of Roland Butcher (Middx cricketer) 😉.

Pat Rice famously had a gents hairdressing saloon just outside of Highbury Stadium. The altercation was nothing to do with the football, but the ref had a full head of hair before he went in for a pre-match trim.

ps I can relate to this by the way having played both sports 🏈⚽️. 

Is it really that bad in the stands at rugby. I remember going to. Leeds v St Helen's game at Headingley around 1981-2. There was no segregation / fencing in the stands with fans intermingled in patches of the ground. I went along with a Leeds fan and was reassured that this was normal even for a so-called grudge match. Times may have changed but it's probably a long time since segregation ended in football. 

Back to the ref. He obviously lost it, but no pushover. Hope he stays in the game. Too many refs seem to get intimidated by players, fans or the likes of 'Evans'.

Leeds, Man City, and Leicester have all played third tier football in recent history. 

Don’t worry, you’ll get back to your rightful place amongst the footballing giants soon enough. Be patient my friend. 

They haven't spent 7 of the last 12 seasons in this shithole ....

Championship is our level and there's no real giants at that level
