Watched Its a sin over the last 2 nights
Very very good and the guy from years and years was a standout. What an Angel his friend was. And Keeley Hawes acting her socks off in the last episode1 -

Watched the first 4. It's a great series and a reminder of just how quickly attitudes have changed0

Binge watched Our Friends in the North (box set) this week ... no idea how I missed it when it first came out in the 90’s.Terrific drama and more or less kick-started the careers of the four main characters, Christopher Eccleston, Mark Strong, Daniel Craig, and Gina McKee.Superb supporting actors including Alun Armstrong, Peter Vaughan, Malcolm McDowell, David Bradley, Tony Haygarth, and Julian Fellowes.8

Me again !
At the risk of fast becoming the expert on Danish series, another was binge watched over the past couple of evenings here in Wadhurst.
And it proved to be another triumph for our very own Great Dane's kith & kin.
1st episode on Channel 4 ( Walter Presents) followed by the entire 6 episodes on All 4, entitled Deliver Us.
Another one for your growing list of " must sees" with the twist in the final scene indicating the likelihood of a follow up to come.

Finished It's a Sin, very good.
Third episode was the standout.3 -

If you can be patient enough to wait for the next episode on a weekly basis then now is the time to start watching as its beginning to hot up.
Wondered how the MCU would turn out after EndGame but the way things are shaping up (and with Kevin Feige at the helm) they could very well just be getting started - The latest twist at the end of todays episode either a proper red herring or just a taster of how mad things could become.
Wouldn't put it past Feige to have his foot on both pedals!! - Just one word of caution, if you do intend to focus on the MCU films (and ignore these shows), then in true Disney smarts, he's already confirmed that things wont make sense in the films if you dont watch these shows.
Certainly one way to get people's money2 -
Anyway, so I'm watching Gomorrah now.4

Everyone still remembers Bleasdale's Liverpool based dramas, and this one gets overlooked a bit.1 -
Craig was great at Geordie. Becomes a tramp at one point. You would’ve never have thought he would go on to play Bond seeing him there.3

Some good soho scenes too with Malcolm McDowell as the porn godfather2

Not new but just finished Succession. Very enjoyable with some truly awful characters in it. Brian Cox is such a fantastic actor3

Based on recommendations here (and, bizarrely, from Patrick Valence on TV), me and Mrs Charente are screaming through Spiral at the rate of knots, now one of my all time favourites.4

Anyone who hasn't seen it I can't recommend the office highly enough
Dwight Kurt Schrute became my TV hero way back. The first 2 series mirror the UK office and whilst it had its very very funny moments it doesn't hit its stride until series 3 when they do their own thing and it hits the stratosphere and becomes possibly my favourite comedy.
I cant imagine there are many people left who haven't seen it but if there are jump aboard4 -

I'd also recommend Community and Silicon Valley

Onto season 4 of Gomorra now (definitely hit a falling asleep show!), about five episodes in and I’m worried that it’s gone off the tracks a little bit. There’s an episode shot in London that’s a good, pretty much stand alone, story similar to the series 3 episode set in Bulgaria.0 -
