On 4 May 2019, Morris was involved in a controversial incident described as "The most unsporting goal in Home Park history".[55]
During an EFL League One fixture between Plymouth Argyle and Scunthorpe United, Plymouth goalkeeper Matt Macey attempted to throw the ball out of play so he could receive treatment for a suspected broken ankle. However, Morris ran to retrieve the ball to keep it in play and subsequently chipped the injured keeper to equalise.
In what has been described as an "appalling lack of sportsmanship" [56] and condemned by Scunthorpe United chairmen Peter Swann,[57]Scunthorpe refused to allow Plymouth to score a conciliatory goal. Plymouth won the match, but the result saw both teams relegated to the fourth tier.
Following the match, Swann stated he was "very disappointed" with both Morris and the senior players involved and apologised "wholeheartedly" to everyone who had witnessed the event.

And here they are.0 -
Why do we always get rid of people then look for a replacement? Rather than do what other clubs do - get the replacement in, then agree to let your player go?6

Would rather we didn't panic buy now, could end up with more deadwood to shift in the summer.0

Josh Morris, getting late in the day for a first mention.

Josh Morris is a solid League 1 player, always rated him. Changed the game when he came on against us a few seasons ago for Scunthorpe. Slight concern that it's fairly apparant he's not Plan A (or B, C or D) but think he'll do a job.2

Fuck off have we sold Maddison and replaced him with someone who hasn’t scored a single goal all season.3

I've been pretty positive all day but feels like we really are signing a late option there. Hope he proves me wrong.2

Which dick head listened to feedback and started a Marcus Maddison thread in September and is getting 100s of pings.....12

2 players who know we don;t want them, left to wander around the training ground? Can't imagine Maddison's attitude will get better in that situation.
“Can’t imagine Maddison’s attitude will get better in that situation” reads to me like you’re ready to jump all over the management team again. In truth, Maddison’s attitude is already god awful with no prospect of improving with or without the transfer saga.
I broadly agree with the other two responses you got with regard to Williams.0 -
I’ve been trying to not to be negative but Christ, this is a bit depressing.0

If we don't sign anyone who's a significant upgrade on playing Albie Morgan as a winger, we have failed massively. I'd argue it isn't even worth signing a player if they're not that.2
-
Underwhelmed with Morris if I’m honest, but as always will support the boys0
-
Morris not an upgrade on Williams or Maddison... Kirk or Randall I'd have said good bizz, but not exactly inspiring there9
