Great signing for bristol rovers that.5
-
Good luck George.Good luck Erhun. Hope you can take some points off our rivals.7
-
We've been busy freeing up space and funds today.
Tomorrow should be fun.21 -
Striker incoming imminently I would imagine25

Good move for Lapslie and hope he does well. Deserves it and needs a full season now. He’s 23 at the moment, it’s actually a big year for him.
Everyone knows Lapslie is technically not brilliant or extremely comfortable on the ball, but he works hard, tracks back, is determined, and his attitude is spot on. He’ll be playing in League Two, not the Premier League, so those qualities are far more important than his ability on the ball.
It’s telling that there has been interest for Lapslie but not for Morgan. Maybe Charlton fans will now start to see how being able to do the other side of the game is valued across the professional game. It’s not about Bowyer not rating Morgan, because he does. It’s about young players not being interested enough in doing the defensive side of the game, it’s not just Morgan, it’s young players in general now. The obsession of being comfortable and technically good has taken over.9 -
Freeing up cap space isn’t a bad thing0
-
Without the cap we obviously keep him. But I think it makes sense1

Good move for Ozzy.
Doesn't fit Bow's game plan, no idea why Bowyer was so persistent to sign him.3 -
Guessing those two going out frees up roughly another £3.5k a week, which should be pretty handy0

If it goes well for Oztumer, we may see him back in January. We know he has the game. Best of luck to him.6

Shame about Oztumer, good player at this level and will score goals for Bristol Rovers. But when we have Williams, Maddison, Aneke, Doughty, and another player or two to sign, we need to free up someone.
Who knows, he might smash it and we bring him back and use him in the promotion push.Good luck, Erhun.11 -

Good move for both.George has bags of energy but lacking that little bit extra at the moment for me. Still think he has enough about him to make a good living in the game. Will always remember his performance away at Portsmouth the promotion season, he was everywhere blocking and putting his body on the line for the team.5

2 players off the wage bill, 2 midfielders, 2 from the overage player pool too1

Good moves for both George and Oz IMO.
TBH, I thought their opportunities of 1st team football might be limited this season.
Good luck, guys and come back to us as world beaters !5 -
Can see us now going in for 4 players2
-
Not ITK but I can see us trying for Mo Eisa, Bowyer tried to sign him before and he's not been starting for Peterborough.1
-
A little surprised by that. It's a great signing for Bristol Rovers.
Moving two players out on loan frees up wages for the cap. The last 24 hours of the transfer window will be fun as a Charlton fan for a change3 -
I think it's unlikely we'll see Oztumer or Lapslie in a Charlton shirt again.6
-
I’d love us to try for Marcus Forss but I think Brentford have plans to use him off the bench this year.0
-
I'm surprised LB is loaning out these CMs to be honest. He usually likes to have about 20 on hand

I think we can expect at least a couple more in now.0
-
After the two out we need Thomas the winger in and a striker/GOALSCORER in.
The latter is the hard part.0
