    Palmer would be a good signing for us, but not in exchange for Taylor.

    Seems abut desperate from Bristol though. Can’t get Nketiah so going after Taylor. Not exactly similar players.

    No way we're going to accept it, but i don't see is that much of a piss take.

    A 23 year old midfielder with plenty of championship experience who cost 3.5m last summer, in exchange for a striker who's nearly 30 and can leave on a free in 4 months time.

    So we target average players? Do you really believe B&G had a conversation where they decided not to target the best they could get with the money they have, and just said let's do average then

    Not entirely true, I used to play a minor sport at International level, I won't say what because I'd prefer to keep my anonymity, anyway at one point I was the 2nd best player in the country, our team had players from all nationalities etc but I got frozen out the team because of political reasons. To put that back into a footballing perspective, some players don't suit certain styles and some fall out with their managers, it isn't always that they aren't as good. 
    I'm going with body building but you were frozen out as the sport couldn't handle a contestant that had undergone gender reassignment.
