No, maybe playing it close to the chest, maybe RH is wrong (and I hope he is). It does, however, add Pratley to the injured list:Scoham said:https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5b6438f46636d/match-preview-sunderland-v-charlton
No mention of JFC being injured.
"New signings Lyle Taylor and Darren Pratley are doubtful and are set to miss the game"
Even without JFC, it seems we should have enough to name a full 18, so I'd be confused if we haven't unless there are injuries we don't know about.2 -
If they're just like me then we truly are fucked.SDAddick said:

Another 4G related injury, assuming they do proper warm-up stretches that didn't lead to Kashi and Igor's achilles injuries.Oggy Red said:

Just a bruised foot wasn't it. Give him a couple of Neurofen.golfaddick said:Isn"t Taylor still injured ??
It's always nice when you get those little moments where you realize footballers are just like you.1 -
Albie Morgan is not in the squad as he is injured. He had a bandage on his knee last week watching the Norwich game.2
-
I feel for those making the journey tomorrow - make sure you are sitting next to someone who knows the youth team.
I'm struggling to see what 11 he'll field as my original team had a space for JFC and Fosu who I forgot was out and Taylor........

Solly Bauer Pearce Page
'X' Aribo 'X' Marshall

At 17/20 Sunderland seem a good bet at those odds. I can't see us scoring so also 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0 at 11-2, 7-1 and 14-1 got to be worth a score on each of those. I very rarely bet against charlton, but tomorrow it seems silly not to.0 -
Unless I've missed it I love the fact that our game against Sunderland hasnt been mentioned by SKY during tonights game
Almost like even the media have realised what they've let themselves in for and will try and keep the game secret - i.e. If you watch it tomorrow its your own damn fault for stumbling across the match2 -
As I was writing this I thought Id be proven wrong, nope SKY advertised Aberdeen v Rangers on Sunday then Man Utd v Leicester next week.ForeverAddickted said:Unless I've missed it I love the fact that our game against Sunderland hasnt been mentioned by SKY during tonights game

In a room in SKY HQ there are suits sitting round a room currently wondering what they've done to show us0 -
Have we anyone in the squad who can wind up Cattermole? Every time he steps on the pitch, he is a red waiting to happen. Step forward Joe Aribo and your quick feet.0
-
Pratley definitely starting. Will get 70 mins out of him. Taylor also starting0
-
Hope we have enough players.0

Pratley isn’t injured just rusty as he hasn’t had much of a pre season, Bowyer mentioned this last week.SDAddick said:

I got Sunderland at 11/10 last week, glad I lumped.0

Try Sarr in midfield...?
(Fuck, everything else have been suggested, what the hell...)
Gonna be surrounded by mackems in casino sports bar.
Feels like being sent to the principal's office1 -
2-0 loss. We have at most one or two shots on goal.0
-
We win 3-0 or lose 3-0 today.
Let's not get carried away, after 15 games is the time to assess things.2 -
3-1 Sunderland. Charlton to go 1-0 up early on and Sunderland to pick us off late in the match0

He has to say that, even if he doesn't mean it.DamoNorthStand said:Why is Bowyer still rolling out this bullshit promotion aim chat.
We are sinking without a trace and have a lower league 2 midfield and a lower league 1 frontline - who is he trying to kid?!

Weather in Sunderland during the match is forecast to be cloudy and 19/20 degrees, a major heatwave for the area. Our players will welcome the near 10 degree drop in temperature compared to what they have been used to training/playing in lately0

Two and a half hours to kick off and I’m still sitting around the breakfast table, drinking coffee and chatting and no inclination to move from this spot anytime soon. Whoever it was that thought a 12.30 kick off is a good idea hasnt got a fucking clue...1

That will be some whizzkid at Sky, we've had a few lunch time fixtures at the Valley over the years and the atmosphere is somewhat muted.0

just been for a walk to loosen up and to buy the papers .. It's just gone10 o'clock and the streets are busy with S'land fans, most in replica shirts, few women and girls with hair dyed bright red .. the pub next to my hotel and every pub and café I passed are rammed .. it's gonna be a busy and lively old day ((:>)1

Come on Charlton. Good luck to Lee Bowyer and the team today. Without the injuries i think we would be looking at a top two finish. Got to dig in for a bit and fingers crossed the JFC rumoured injury is just a strain. 1-2 backs to the wall victory. Will be viewing from bar in Spain with fingers crossed and Mahou on tap.0
