Yes, they have to play catch up as soon as they get control.0

Oh joy.0

Well according to Beckey boy, who has been correct rather a lot recently (even on the sale of konsa) - Muir wasn’t happy that Konsa has been sold but the agreement for the takeover was that if any players are sold then the value comes off of the takeover price0

I wonder if we'll get our ticket office back.blackpool72 said:
And the potholes in the carpark are getting bigger.ValleyMick said:Another fantastic couple of Charlton days. Rape allegations against 2 Charlton players. Konsa sold to Brentford. And still no concrete sign that the takeover is happening. Great, f***ing great.

Roland is leading us to the prem, just watch you guys.

I knew Roland was here, took it as he was finalising. Seems a bit out of the blue to say he’s planning for next sesson. Goes against everything else anyone’s saying.0

Looks like Duchatelet has fucked us for one more season whatever happens now.
A bit worrying that in Cawley's article he says negotiations are ongoing yet we've also heard this week that it's already with the EFL and almost concluded.
What's going on?!1 -
Brinkmanship2

And the pantomime season starts even earlier than usual in SE7.....5

This is depressing. Might have a 3rd go on the prediction thread...2

Posting without using the words I really want to use! It'almost as though he will try and force it so if it does happen it is as late as possible so there is as little time to prepare for the next season0

Good to see his decision making is still as poor as it was at the start3

Fuck off Roland7

If that is the case, why would Roland do something so stupid? It would be pointless and only risk the sale. Mind you it doesn't seem the brightest thing for any reason given the seeming poximity of a sale.sammy391 said:Well according to Beckey boy, who has been correct rather a lot recently (even on the sale of konsa) - Muir wasn’t happy that Konsa has been sold but the agreement for the takeover was that if any players are sold then the value comes off of the takeover price

IF the Belgian plum is still our owner by the start of the season then this season can almost be written off, if he is still the owner by the end of the season then I fear we will relegated or very close.2

There isn’t a swear word invented to date that would do justice for how I feel right now towards the Belgian.16
-
To be honest, the whole of Cawleys article reads as if it’s pureky based on the fact Duchâtelet had sold konsa - rather than having any actual info1

It is as if he wants to destroy the club!BR7_addick said:There isn’t a swear invented to date that would do justice for how I feel right now towards the Belgian.

That doesn’t mean much though. During due diligence they would have taken a conservative value of the squad and Konsa being one of the more saleable assets would have been a significant part of that.sammy391 said:Well according to Beckey boy, who has been correct rather a lot recently (even on the sale of konsa) - Muir wasn’t happy that Konsa has been sold but the agreement for the takeover was that if any players are sold then the value comes off of the takeover price
Say RD has sold him at 2.5m and the Aussies valued him at 4m, they’re now paying £37.5m for a club their due diligence values at £36m.
That’s an issue, especially if they didn’t sign off on the transfer.3 -
Why would he do something like that? He must feel that the Aussies are dragging their heels on the deal.Airman Brown said:Duchatelet threatening more player sales and staff cuts.

Add to the fact that RD has a track record of keeping add-ons, the Aussies *could* be taking a significant loss if further outgoings and cuts are made.0

I saw him walking out of the ground at 5.45pm with another bloke. The sale of Konsa and rumours of active cost cutting suggest it's all off. If so, we really will hit rock bottom this season.0
