Seemed a quiet week until the the past 2 days and it's reminded me of what a complete shambles we are.
Idiotic decisions time and time again.
Perhaps I'm missing something here. We've shifted out a centre-back and a bunch of strikers who weren't doing the business. Getting Williams and Vaz Te in the first place were obviously bad decisions, but moving them on is surely the right thing to do, isn't it?

All this fuss about Watt is a joke, he really isn't that good! Beats a couple of players then tries to beat everyone else and loses it every time, doesn't pass, hardly ever scores, you'd think he was the next George Best on here!
As for Vaz Te, I said to you all when I saw him in the changing room at Hull he really didn't look like he wanted to be there and to be honest, he's been rubbish anyway.
So they've shifted two players that are probably on a good wedge, what's so wrong with that?
Like everyone else, I sincerely hope someone else is coming in, let's hope we've freed up the money to do that now!

Fair point. The sad thing is TW is still one of our top scorers. RVT and Williams didn't contribute so no loss... Well TW and RVT have left and we don't have even one replacement so we are net negative there. Tex is hopefully better than Williams so we can call that positive.
If, and for me it's a big if, we replace TW and RVT with something better then you are right to be positive. But right now, with the situation and track record, I struggle to see how reducing our options (including a starting 11 player last weekend) is a good move right now.

They obviously referring to the club. I'm guessing from that you don't see any issue in the fact that the people moving on a player 'on a good wedge' are the same people who signed him only a couple of months ago and are already giving up on him. Money well spent that.
As for 'freeing up the money', Roland is a multi-millionaire and it's widely known that our budget is pitifully small, far too small to compete at the level we should. Having to junk off a game-changing striker to stay within a budget that's too small and we don't actually need to stay within is insanity.
We can but hope... And then they have to hit the ground running...
But you heard KM, new players will have played regularly, not injury prone, and be fit enough to play at least 30 games a season, and you still want someone who is good as well, I think you are being unreasonable

You are correct jd reduced terms and a short contract due to his age. We now give 18 months to unfit has beens and 4.5 years to a 29 year old. Still our Colin will defend it as great business.

I assume that they think they have a striker deal done but as we all know it never done until it's done. Should it fall through and god knows we are shit at getting things across the line. We are left in a relegation battle with Reza and Mak.

THAT is how you do it - bring in someone BEFORE you sell We sell first & then find that we cant buy anyone as they know we have money to spend/ 3 days to go to the end of the transfer window & I bet they haven't a clue who to bring in - which is why, Essex Al Addicks Addict, we are a tad annoyed on here. its not that we are getting rid of natural talent (TW) and an experienced Championship striker (vaz Te) but that as it stands we don't have replacements' for them.............and if you seriously think that on Monday morning 2 experienced, championship strikers will be turning up at sparrows lane than you have not been on this planet during the pasr 2 years.
