    Looking for an article on the Thames barrier I brought up the site and it gives a recent satellite pic. I do not know how recent except it is 2014. Looking at the Valley you can see how bad the pitch is

    I presume the water table has gone down a bit in the last few weeks. If so, don't we just need to cover the muddy bit and all will be well.
