Looking at the radar the showers will be heavy but quick with biggish gaps in between. There's no sign of an area of rain forming (yet!) so I'm pretty confident that, providing the pitch isn't marginal now, then all will be ok.

Any sign of a meteor coming in? if so I'm going to take my iPad down to the Anderson shelter.

I'm praying we play this game it finishes and we win. You wouldn't believe how hard the Groundstaff have worked. Some have been there all through the night. Win it for them. COYR

There is no message from the club, so it's safe to assume that the pitch is not at risk, no inspection is planned and the game will go ahead.
..........or is it ?
But now blue skies with no clouds.
Cover coming off pitch in 50 minutes.
