Meh, we got beat by a worldy strike.Small was terrible, real bad day at the office from him.
Should really have been 1-1 with the pen.Let’s focus on the lead and improving the squad.13 -

Managers change, players change but our utter gashness in cup competitions continues unabated.15

Fell asleep, did May get booed?0

Poor second half but Birmingham are nothing to be scared of in this league.9

Thank you all for the updates.2 -
Only caught the second half. Absolutely dire. It’s only a cup game so not the end of the world but still big questions about where the creativity is going to come from.5

What a loaf of crap.
Same old same old.
Cant cross
Cant shoot
Cant score2 -
Birmingham have just spent ten zillion quid and loads of their signings were on show. They're a frighteningly good L1 side and we largely matched them while not playing well. Chin up folks18

That was pretty poor all round. I’m not at all convinced with Gillesphey it must be said. Thought Mitchell did ok when he came on. Midfield too ponderous. Toothless up front. We will be hard to beat but can we do enough up the other end to get promoted.6
-
Was a difficult watch, seems very similar to last season, defense seems solid but missing someone like CBT to beat a man and make something happen1
-
Missed a pen.
Long balls ineffective.
No plan b.
Birmingham, for all the money spent, not that good either.8 -
Were we shit, or are Birmingham hard to play against ? Didn’t see the match and didn’t read your comments.3

Meh. Decent enough performance in a competition that doesn’t really matter. Minutes in the legs for some players and a confidence booster for Coventry. Confident if we play like we did until the goal against Orient that we’ll win

Positive:
TC tested the goalkeeper with a ferocious strike from 12 yards.

That aside, it was all quite high, wide and ugly. I don't think it's a coincidence that players who do not score too regularly are fluffing chances.4 -

I didn't think they were amazing outside of a good 15 minutes after they scored. Same with Wigan on Saturday.5 -

@Gribbo ‘s mate Gary Kasparov would attack with more pace than we do

An even game, in that we nullified Brum options. Is the game plan to bore opponents so much so that they can't take it any more and let us score. If we'd had strikers on the pitch and a playmaker we'd have won that.0

Yeah I’m over this one already. Not sure others are going to be though.
Not sure the same rings true if you're not creating much in the first place. The stat I’ve got in front of me says we’ve created 3 “big chances” and allowed 0 so far this season.1 -
Gotta be beating these teams that are lower than us in the league6
