Heavily rotated Birmingham beat heavily rotated Charlton by single goal thanks to a 25 yard effort from a 19 year old right back playing out of position that wouldn’t be able to do it again if you gave him 100 attempts.
Yeah I’m over this one already. Not sure others are going to be though.
Coventry was around the same spot as their goalscorer was.
Once again no composure.
You act like scoring from distance is so easy, and such a regular thing?
It is against us ...
I mean its different teams that do it against us, rather than the same team time and time again though... As we've shown from the opportunities we have from distance, its easy to create the chance, not easy to take it.
We look crap, we can't cross, we can't pass and we can't shoot. Only positive for me is Zach Mitchell, i think we have a very capable player and one for the future.
I think I have the answer to our current malaise. We have 1 shot on target per game, 2 shots on target in 2 games in aggregate, and 1 goal. So we score with every other shot on target. Ergo, we should try to shoot more whilst simultaneously hitting the target with said shot, which would result in more goals at a ratio of 1 for every 2. Go tell Jones the Gaff.

CharltonLife: "Why dont we ever try and shoot like that"
Charlton shoot miles over on three occasions in the second half alone from similar situations
CharltonLife: "Ah"
Playing ten men and it's still backpass after backpass

In 2 games we've had 3 shots on target. At Wigan there was Jones's goal & Campbells shot. Tonight we had Campbell's penalty.
We have bigger fish to fry.
