  • Mickey Apples has him pencilled in for centre forward!

40+ games in their last 2 L1 seasons so he’s durable
He hasn’t played for us yet. Give it 25 mins of his debut.
  • Clarke Harris has been left out of Peterborough’s match day squad today.
No Stephen Humphrys in the Wigan squad today either.
    Injured

    Signing for us soon, then?

Minor injury this time of year is so often code for "on the move"

Surely can’t be dropping down a league to sit on the bench. Who is he replacing in starting 11?
Barely played this season for them so assume he’s well down their pecking order. Here he’s immediate competition as a minimum for our Jones, Hector and Edun.
    Or we are going 3-5-2.
Maybe that is Appleton's preferred formation but couldn't play it with the squad he's inherited, Doucher will be pleased if that's the case.

It’s not. Appleton has stuck rigidly to 4-3-3 for his entire coaching career.

Which is just bizarre if you think of the amount of jobs/clubs he's had.

At some point you'll have injuries and have to change formation.  Or so you'd think.......!

Wasn't Alfie May out today with a minor injury as well? :-)

that’s why I said often. no interest in May reported but interest both JCH and Humphrys has, makes a big difference

Don't spend any money you mugs, use the dosh to pay off Appleton. Then concentrate on our relegation battle by putting Pearce in charge.
With him we might have a chance of staying up.

We are not paying transfer fees so forget about JCH. Loans and freebies are the strategy. Leak a few names we are interested in to make it seem like we mean business and then sign shite on the last day of the window. And then repeat every transfer window.
Apart from the fees we spent last summer you mean?
True, there was the fee for May although that was rumoured to be paid from sponsorship money. We've seen nothing from the new owners that suggests they are serious about investing in quality players to get us out of this league. Add a new manager to that list too.

So who paid loan fee for Camara .. plus increase in wage budget which meant we went over FFP …

No Tedic on the bench so guessing he’s gone and Cawley saying Luton are considering recalling Watson too
Not surprised re Watson, Luton cant be too happy with his lack of playing time
Agreed - absolutely ridiculous management - u21 player i spoke to yesterday says he’s a level above our players
I'm calling bull shit here. I'm pretty sure that players are coached from a young age not to shout their mouths off.

your source isn't going to be popular when the squad find out!!! Mr Hector will be giving him an off the ball whack in training.
all true, no bullshit - you'e sure they are coached not to shoot their mouths off :D and how is hector going to give him a whack?

And paid 400,000 to allow Kirk to leave …

    Another fantasy
  • Left footed CB to pair with Jones, you’d have to think. Or competition for Edun who has been less than impressive the last few weeks.r
Left side of a back three or LB, so replacement for TT

A complete moron given his injury record I guess.
  • Macauley Gillesphey sounds like a cross between Macauley Bonne and Alex Gilbey
    Son of Dizzy.

    What injury record?

He played 34, 50, 34, 48 and 46 games respectively in the 5 season he played since signing for Crawley and going to Ipswich.

Last season was his first injury hit season, and that was only due to one injury.

    It was liddle ol’ me.
  • Perhaps the best target for the club should be to poach Peterborough’s recruitment team.
