565, a few walk ups and the Stevenage fiasco have cost me dearly here.

I'll never recover from missing this one
Have pm'd you, Braziliance . Can you get back to me ASAP, please.
Just a special mention to the lovely Jean who helped me out in securing a ticket :)
To be honest mate, if you somehow managed to get a ticket despite not qualifying for one I think I would keep shtum about it.
The only reason why I didn't qualify is because I didn't get my away points due to walk ups and not assinging ownership to those tickets plus Stevenage, otherwise I would be well in the clear. I still went to those games that would have got me those points.

Someone did something nice so I was crediting them..

    -
Good for you and good on them.

I was only suggesting you might not want to shout about it because people get the ump about that sort of thing. Doesn't bother me because I would never be going anyway.

Look forward to seeing the video. One request if I may - can you try and get some footage of the Quaggy. I think we need to see how deep it is!
    ;-)
Fair enough, well I've been a season ticket holder for years and been in the arse end of nowhere for this team so it's not like I've rocked up to my first away game here, anywho, I get where you're coming from.

I will do my best, gonna be a rushed video I imagine tonight though as I am pushing it for time  :#

Anyone know if there is a stream somewhere for the abroad fans to follow?

No mention of South Africa - and I thought there would be a good following here. Didn’t we do some work in SA or Africa some years ago (we might have been in the Prem)?

I didn't mean to suggest that the club had any say in where the replay is broadcast but Africa is a very large continent and I would have assumed would be included in “…around the world”. Interesting to know why it hadn’t been included. I’ll use VPN anyway.

It's because SuperSport (the rights holders for all of sub-Saharan Africa) aren't showing it. If the article is saying where you can watch it you can't expect them to list everywhere you can't

  • This is the last time I’m going to say it . Play the strongest team and bring the most important players off once the job is done .

As my mate Albert Einstein said .

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Who gets the job of "bringing the players off"?

It's not as simple as that though. As Curbs said on Saturday, he played a very similar side versus Dagenham to the one which had beaten Man City and Arsenal, and scraped a draw with a last gasp equaliser.

If the players aren't up for it, then the stronger team might be less effective than hungry backup players.

The attitude and workrate tonight will be critical. Players like May will always give 100%, but is that true of everyone?

To be honest, I think the club should hand pick the fans, so those loyal fans get the tickets!

Proper Football on tonight - Just hope people don't feel too embarrassed watching their supposed team this evening, surprised many are able to step outside their houses, given how easily they seem get awkward.
  • Now it's at Cray, this has become a classic FA cup game IMO, despite the potential for disaster I'm looking forward to it, in a strange kind of way.
Potential Disaster should not be the case here.
Anything below 0-6 should be totally unacceptable.

Does anyone know when the collection from The Valley ones have to be collected by?
Need to collect by 5pm on Wednesday from Ticket Office, after that collect from main reception up until 7pm.

The away ground does not have the facilities to collect from the ground.
Just rang up to find this out as well, handy this as I will be getting into Charlton at 6 to get the ticket and making my way there. If it was 5pm I would have had to go from Kent today just to get the ticket.
So hopefully the back is behaving itself now...and don't forget the old shooting stick to rest it up tomorrow night..🙄
With all the rain we’ve had of late chances are if anybody really did plant a shooting stick on a grass bank and sit on it the stick would probably keep on going all the way down into the ground
Grass Bank! It’s not Harlow Town away from home back in 1980
Or Selhurst latterly Sainsburys End 1968/69 FA Cup replay, Ray Tracey at the double 2-0.
HaHa remember it well, absolute mayhem slipping & sliding in the mud  :D

Edit It was the Holmsdale end with the grass from about halfway up (shit hole) & where the majority of Charlton were, although Charlton were all around the ground so maybe "Sainsburys" had grass as well.
Was definitely the Holmesdale … I remember how muddy it was, lots of us kids were there from Cherry Orchard Estate … don’t recall any Palaaarse fans stopping us going anywhere we wanted so must have been a lot of Charlton there
Sainsbury’s end too, mate. Had exactly the same journey as @RedChaser and by the time we got there the other end was the only choice left. We’d already missed Treacy’s first. We never felt concrete beneath our feet the whole game. Not that we cared…

  • Our support will be at the legendary Quaggy End.
  • FINALLY!!... Its about time Toby Bower gets involvement with the First Team, given the amount that people rave about him.

    You got your wish
  • Could see a couple of new debutants tonight in Bower and Mbick both in the bench.
  • Charlton: Walker; Asiimwe, Ness, Jones, Edun; McGrandles, Dobson (c), Fraser; May, Leaburn, Blackett-Taylor Substitutes: Molyneux, T.Watson, Bower, Kedwell, L.Watson, C.Campbell, T.Campbell, Tedić, Mbick

Looks like Kirk's career with us is truly over unless he's injured
  • good, get job done, and Kirk is done for good at this club

Played well on Sunday at Kidderminster when the U21's beat Wolves. Arrived on the left and slotted home a goal very nicely.
Can take a good set piece.

But players only get injured playing non league cloggers. Never in training. 😉
