I think we've filled all the major gaps in our squad and moved on some of the deadwood. The truth is none of us know if it's good enough for promotion. We're all gonna have to wait and see.4

My initial thoughts are to question why we left it so late, that we ended up signing 4 players on deadline day.
Especially when none of the signings seem so good that you'd go a month without a senior right back and a strike partner for May, to wait for them.20 -
If Tedic is done it’s a decent day in terms of getting players in in the positions we need. I’d like a left back too, myself, because I wouldn’t want to play Thomas there every week if Edun gets a bad injury but I accept that’s not part of the “plan”.Disappointed they are all loans. And a little concerned that the squad will be so young, but they do all seem to have decent pedigree and if it all clicks with our own youngsters it could be quite exciting.
Would have been better if we’d got some of this done sooner too.
I don’t expect this will get us promoted but I hope to be proven wrong.5 -

We all want to be pleasantly surprised by our new signings. However, being lied to by owners and their strategic lies and blurring of the truth isn't acceptable.
If my friends did it, I'd be pissed.
Charlton doing it to fans who spend their time, money and passion supporting the club is just as unacceptable.
If we'd been told the truth from the outset, we could have braced ourselves for the rocky ride.
All we want is the truth told to us.
I think we deserve that.
Charlie boy in his early interviews seemed to understand that. Sadly he said it just to appease us and give him some time to get what he wanted from structuring a deal to acquire CAFC.
Let's hope we get a manager soon. Get the injured players back and not destroy a very promising bunch of young Charlton players.
