Businesses don’t change overnight. Football clubs are different but not entirely different. If this season is about stabilising and then getting promoted next year, that’s probably as good as it gets. I’m not saying that’s the plan, but it’s the only credible one.
This doesn't make sense when you think about it. We aren't stabilising, because at the end of the summer, the squad will be totally unstable. We'll need to sign a new squad basically, and we'll be starting the season weak again, dropping points as we scramble to complete transfers up until the window shuts, and then we'll be trying to get the players we have signed up to fitness, which will take even more time.

I think a lot of it will come down to getting Leaburn, Fraser and Camara back fit personally and no one really knows how the new lads will get on with the exception of Tanai Watson who we’ve seen play. But what it does do is gives us options and a squad.

I think a lot of it will come down to getting Leaburn, Fraser and Camara back fit personally and no one really knows how the new lads will get on with the exception of Tanai Watson who we’ve seen play. But what it does do is gives us options and a squad.
Can’t say I disagree with the main point on those type of players being crucial, what I had hoped would be that we bring in other players that would improve us rather than pad the squad out. I’m not convinced these do, but we’ll see.

Can’t say I disagree with the main point on those type of players being crucial, what I had hoped would be that we bring in other players that would improve us rather than pad the squad out. I’m not convinced these do, but we’ll see.
