I've been asking myself that very question for the last 20 years or more and I haven't come up with a good answer for myself, so I'm out.
Some of these youngsters have played just a handful of senior games. One or two in a starting line up is fine but this is ridiculous. Can you find me where Methven said money would be spent ? ( some has clearly ) but I’d also like to read that.. I remember him saying we’d be run sensibly with a good senior management team. That’s what a lot of people wanted, we’ve signed good players now we have to wait and see what they can do once we get a manager in and a few players back fit.
I'm feeling more positive about our hopes for the season compared to last night. Wish we did some of this business earlier though, not getting a striker in before the season has probably cost us 3-6 points.
