  • Do we practice shooting, or are we trying to play rugby conversions!
    Terrible
  • We are dominating but can’t hit the target atm.
    We're dominating?!?!?!?
We’ve got in behind them numerous times. Had five shots to their two. The finishing has been the problem so far
It has been said before today that our midfield & attackers arent that good at scoring, let alone shooting.
  • If Field Goals or whatever you call them in Rugby counted we'd be absolutely smashing them.
  • Do they practice shooting in training?
  • If this was Rugby or American football we'd be getting loads of points for conversions, but sadly it's not.
  • Barnsley defending a 1-0 at the moment, we are creating the best chances, most of them ending in the stands, apart from a fluky long ranger that could have gone anywhere they are doing nothing, and we should have been level at least..
  • The quality of our shots is embarrassing. How many times do we see them leaning back and smashing it over
  • In behind them again twice in the last couple of minutes.
  • Great bamboozling run from JRS, plays Stockley in, who wins a corner from the right.

  • Smyth scores for Orient. Pratley having a good game according to Matt Murray.

Charlton shooting is Dog and duck 2nd team. We have created so many good moves today and should've had 3 at least.
  • O’Connell header off target from the corner.
  • Another period of play where we’ve made Barnsley look silly and then blasted off target.
We’ve been by far the better team since the goal.

But it’s the same usual issue of just not being able to put the ball in the net.
  • Fraser takes, O'Connell gets the ball in the air but he's off-balance so the header goes wide.
  • So we are the better team! Good to hear
  • Stockley had done two cracking long passes today but no one on CL will notice.
Our shooting is awful but we have done some good moves.
Do we get points for those then?
No but that is something a forward in our system needs to do. Nearly a third there, just maybe a bit too clever for his own good.

He has been better today, you can tell he's trying to adapt, it just isn't natural.

We have a set piece and attacking coach..........honestly I am not joking  :)

  • Stockley somehow wins the header and picks up the second ball, and tries to pass wide to Fraser (I think) but it gets intercepted.
  • 7 shots, 0 on target

If we all just ignore the score we will be fine.

Far to much focus on results, that's the problem.

Conversions! That's the word, I couldn't think of it. Are they also called "tries?"
  • Barnsley down our left, Clare's headed clearance could probably have down with a bit more oomph so they retrieve, but the ball forward eventually goes out for our goal kick.

Tries like a touch down, when you actually have to touch it down.
  • Rak-Sakyi is too good for us
I know but please, please stop saying it in case someone from Palace watches this board.

It’s one way traffic at the moment.
  • CBT down the left nearly wins a corner but has to settle for a throw by the flag.
