Is that Brad Friedel on the left or Conte's minder in case he comes across Tuchel again?
Daniel Levy’s brother in law who works for the club. Hopefully Levy mucks his sister around and he gives Dan a good beating
Good knowledge that fella. He's the player liasion officer. Fixer. The club's version of Ray Donovan. Ex-Army, built like a unit. And yes, Levy's brother-in-law.
Spurs have confirmed that Son suffered a fractured left eye socket and will need an operation
Not surprised. He looked absolutely f*cked when he was helped off last night. In the picture of the team in the dressing room after and he looks like he was being propped up, he was away with the fairies. His face looks proper swollen.
Sad for him that he'll miss the World Cup.
3 weeks until Korea play their first game so there's a chance he could play with a mask.
Big blow to Spurs though, especially with Richarlison and Kulusevski already out.

Just been announced Kulu and Richarlison are in the squad for Sunday's game against the Dippers. Bloody good job too as I'm going this week and next v Leeds.
BEEP BEEP BEEP Reversing... its not confirmed yet (although disclaimer - I may have fell hook, line and sinker for a wind up so dont update your FPL teams just yet!)
Up to 13th now. Keeping faith with Rodgers was the correct decision.
To be fair, who is available that is better than Rodgers...
Although I could have said the same when Brighton lost Potter - Wonder how many people in England had heard of de Zerbi, and how long they had him on their radar, ready for when they knew Potter would go.
Credit to Arteta for putting together a serious team. The worrying thing for others is that nine of that side are 25 or younger with the likes of Saliba, Saka and Martinelli just 21.

It's annoying to see Arsenal with a good young, quite likeable side.
I preferred it when they were a mess, midtable and playing Southampton rejects at right back etc.

6 weeks or so ago it would have been a team completely under the age of 30. If they can keep them and recruit well they could be a serious side for quite a while. Their squad still looks a little weak so the real test will be when they start picking up the odd knock.

And even with injuries, they do have some decent youngsters as backup too, if not City levels of backup. Nelson for example coming on last week and scoring twice

Not sure one game proves anything yet, Nelson has done very little in his career. They've got a load of players nowhere near good enough for the top level - Cedric, Holding, Elneny for example plus they'd massively miss Odegaard and Jesus.
Interesting to read the comments on the Newcastle forum about Eddie Howe. For obvious reasons, there's a complete "love in" but I have to say I have always liked the way the guy has gone about things. He's spent a lot of time watching coaches around the world, picking out the good things and ditching the not so good. But his biggest asset is his ability to man manage.
Yes the money has undoubtedly helped but let's not forget that United spent more on Maguire than Newcastle did on the three defenders they signed. And it's how he has improved the ones that were there already that has stuck so many of their fans as impressive. From the Newcastle forum:
Joelinton: was about to be rode out of town. Scorned object of derision who has been transformed into a near elite midfielder who is a leader on the pitch and a genuine good guy.
Miggy: ran around like a muppett, scared of his own shadow. Now plays with bags of confidence and scores for fun.
Longstaff: raised up by Rafa only to sink back into the quagmire under Brewce. He's not a world beater by any stretch but used correctly can be relied upon for a quality shift.
Murphy: another headless chicken who has been given proper direction and is now a serviceable PL player.
Shelvey: fat, lazy and disinterested. Under Howe he has gotten fit and has a bit of fire. The old Shelvey would have milked the injury until the WC at least. It was great to see him back
Schar: Brewce had him on the scrap heap. He's back where he belongs.
That's six guys. They were lost money. They weren't contributing and nobody wanted them. Under Howe they have confidence and play with purpose. Just like new signings, indeed, with no extra cost. Brilliant work.
Today's scorers - Almiron, Wood and Willock. How many of those would get in a top six team now let alone based on their early form last season.

But that control, and finish in the box from Barnes was outstanding
keeps the goal scoring high and the points tally low.
