Pretty surprised that the clubs Fan Liaison Officer doesn't come on the clubs biggest fans forum. Even if she doesn't post anything you'd expect she'd at least want to have a browse just to see what's going on and what fans are saying about certain things.

Since about 2010 I have organised the annual Player of the Year Dinner on behalf of the Fans Forum and in the company of two other ladies, at least one of whom is well known to Charlton Life regulars. The award is given out at the Dinner although Covid has prevented that in the last two years. Previous winners, from memory, have included Jean Tindall & Betty Hutchings, Colin Cameron, Seb Lewis, Bernard Wickham, the German Addicks, Rick Everitt and the Boardroom Four. Hardly controversial choices I would have thought and as far as I am aware all the recipients have been delighted to receive their awards. It is not a vote and they are selected by the Dinner organisers. Yes, we arrange the event on behalf of the Fans Forum, but they are purely our choices. Can we have an election where a short list of potential panel members are voted for. Then the top 20 can run for election to the main awarding board. The 10 that win a seat can then hold regular meetings to discuss the relative merits of each individual supporter, after that process they can vote for their choice of " Supporter Of The Year". That should save any conspiracy theories. Oh Wait !!!!

Good to hear it was productive and that TS turned up in person. For all the criticism he gets at times all I see is an owner who is really trying to communicate and take advice. Sure some bad decisions have been made and sure his money is finite but he seems an amazingly decent owner so far to me.
