Brendan Wiredu never was played in his best position at the club, they always stuck him out wide trying to fill in a gap or even played at right wing back on a couple of occasions.
He’s a central midfielder who has a good engine. He could be likened to Camara at Plymouth and many would be happy with Camara.
Not saying he’s at that level, but remember Gallen saying we have a buy back option with Wiredu so I think they know he could turn into the player they hoped.
New number 6 at Colchester this season, big year for him and think he’ll do well.7 -

Lewis Page has joined Harrogate Town. Didn’t extend his contract at Exeter to pursue a move to a higher league which obviously hasn’t worked out. 35 appearances last season.
we could have done worse than to get him back on a free now that he seems to have got over those injuries.15 -
Recently signed a new deal with Colchester so I’m guessing we will be keeping an eye on him if we have a buy back. Can’t believe these people who take any opportunity to have a dig at TS.The man enjoys making music good for him that will not in my opinion have any effect on his running of the club. Can’t thank him enough for what he has done so far. I am confident the team building will be successful and that we will have a good season. Purchased my season tickets just disappointed that I will miss the first game and Thomas playing his new tune as it is my daughter’s wedding. Just chill and waiting see what happens with transfers sure there’ll be more good acquisitions.20
