I don't understand why people are defending posters who are potential liars. 'It's a rumours thread, they're posting rumours aren't they?'. Bit of a ridiculous mindset when anyone can just make it up on the spot and say they have a contact, I would prefer these types to be caught out and not post again. Picking on their spelling and in general harassment is not ok, but liars/ attention seekers should be called out. It certainly would be outside of the forum, I.e. if people were saying these links at a pub or what have you, so I don't see the difference here.

I thought the thread was entitled rumours. By definition, not all will come off. Of course there is the potential for some to make stuff up which is pathetic, but we should also give people the benefit of the doubt and not jump all over them as some are prone to do, which I think is a bit self entitled of them.

Chuks Aneke medical condition was an issue, I personally wouldn't share, as well as a young player who failed a medical at one club yet was signed by another club a week later. I decided to keep my lips sealed which is difficult for a soapbox person.

The Steve Gallen example just doesn't apply here. If SG posted on here (why am I even typing this haha) it would be a genuine link and would mean the fall through would be down to a breakdown in communications. When X poster posts said made up rumour on here there is no substance, just them looking for attention or to get a rise. It's sad and should be flushed out imo. The only thing more annoying than these types of posters is when the thread completey goes off topic.

Hopefully we get a few this week as a new squad will surely need a few weeks to bond and it will be a shame if we dont get 3 points first game back at the valley presumably with TS in attendance due to players not really being familiar with eachother
