A couple of years ago, I was walking to a mates house in the morning and a dog came bounding up to me. I said good morning to the dogs owner (quite an attractive woman) and had a little chat and then me and my mate drove 8 hours in the car to Edinburgh. We were there for the weekend. That night, in Scotland, we went to a bar and I saw the attractive woman with the dog! So, I went up and said hello and she didn't recognise me. I told her that we had an encounter that morning in London and what a coincidence it was to see her. She replied that it was her identical twin sister who lives in London and she lives in Edinburgh! Anyway we swapped numbers and remained acquaintances and that's become one of her favourite stories to tell people.

The twin sister in Edinburgh didn't have a dog herself, but now I wish the dogs were identical sisters too!

30 years or so ago I worked for a summer in an American kids camp in Malibu.
One of the ladies working there lived in Bromley like I did.
Coincidentally the first line of her address (house number and road name) was an exact match to my address! I hadn't realised there were two roads in Bromley with the same name until then.
I may have told this elsewhere years ago……… But year or so after getting our first dog Bailey, a Facebook friend said she had a mate who had a sibling of Bailey and wanted to ask me about a training issue and could she send me a friend request.
Coincidentally she also had a passing interest in Charlton! After chatting over several days about the dogs the subject changed to Charlton and how she became attached to the club, bearing in mind she lives on the west coast of Scotland. Explaining her father who was at that time visiting her at home had played for Charlton I obviously asked the name of the former player.

One evening she collected her nan and was driving her home via the Old Kent Road (nan lived in Waterloo).
My wife pointed out to her nan where she was working and it turned out her nan had worked in the same building making military uniforms during WW2.
So the nan ended up doing a tour of the building one week and appearing in the company newsletter!
