Luton - 5 point deduction for having the worst away end in the division Huddersfield - 5 point deduction for that Paddy Power shirt at the start of the season Hull - 5 point deduction for conceding 8 goals in a game
Charlton deducted 15 points for being shit.
That's roughly equivalent to the points regularly chucked away in the last 10 minutes.
So we've had our points deduction already.
Edit: Sorry @Todds_right_hook ....... only just seen you've already posted much the same thing.
Looking at the EFL website this morning it says that Wigan's 12 point deduction will be applied immediately after the Fulham game but it is still subject to appeal, so we may still not know where we stand after Wednesday night.

EFL AGM in middle of August and we may not know until then which clubs will be relegated

Just need to win. Guarantee it ourselves
Normally I’d make you right, but with all the close season issues coming, it wouldn’t surprise me if all the others get bugger all in the way of penalties and the EFL make some shit up and send us down.
As horrible as it is for Wigan fans how can they possibly be successful in their appeal. The "well we didn't know he was gonna do it" surely doesn't stand up. Otherwise every side ever could argue that when they go into administration? It a pretty set in stone rule that if you go into administration you are deducted points
I expect the preferred bidder to be Wigan Warriors (whatever the rugby team is). "Completion will be subject only to approval by the EFL of the fit and proper person's test, which they tell me at best could take three weeks."
The cost of the appeal is £400K-£500K and Wigan will still have a 2 year transfer ban!
So they can do some things quickly if they want to. A week to get the papers in. 5 minutes for a cup of tea, 3hrs to make it look like they have done something, announcement at 12:30.
I’m pretty sure if you’re genuine and have real money you can pass it all reasonably quickly if you’re a complete web of bullshit and skint then no it’s not gonna get passed

I love the passing the fit & proper test bit..... "which they tell me at best should take 3 weeks"
Ho ho ho.
Ours has been over 5 & still no answer.
Why do you assume there has been no answer? All we can probably be sure of is that they haven’t got approval. Whether that’s a hard “no” or a “maybe, but” is anyone’s guess.

I was referring to the source of funds bit where genuine money is involved not make believe shit

When Roland sold us, the club owed masses of money to HIM rather than the bank manager or HMRC
