I'd be pretty happy with that tbh, seems to know where the goal is. However, my friend whos a blackpool fan was recently moaning how little he runs/tracks back/actually puts effort in so surely that's something Bows must feel he can change

My in-laws are Blackpool fans, and they really don't rate him. Say he is not a champ player.
Surprising that this has only emerged 3 months later!
Gnanduillet has been pretty good this season after being average beforehand.
Out of contract in the summer, a chance of a pay increase and playing in the Championship. If that does not motivate him he may as well retire. Our interest may have galvanised him.

I'm not sure we would pay him more than he could get at L1 level. But probably more than Blackpool could.
Don't think Taylor will go in January, he will need to start scoring the minute he is back but has to get up to match fitness first, just hope nobody takes the risk on him and stays with us

Got there before me mate, I've just seen that and was about to post. Think that would be a decent signing
His 12 goals aren't all this season. Looking at his career stats on Wiki, no thanks.
So he now has 14 from 50 games with Blackpool, and among his other weak stats 10 from 82 for Chesterfield. Great pedigree!
While Roland’s here this is the sort of signing our budget can attract.
Two of our best strikers in the last decade didn’t have impressive careers before signing for us. Plenty of examples of big strikers coming good later on in their careers.
Gnanduillet's stats on wiki don't tell the full story.
For a start Blackpool have been dire in recent seasons what with all the Oyston chaos going on.
Secondly wiki just gives total appearances, he has scored 28 goals in 67 starts for Blackpool which isn't that bad. 10 in 14 this season too and is finding form as he hits his prime (he's 27).
For those who are criticising his stats, consider that Lyle Taylor was 28 when we signed him and scored 14 goals in 42 league games for Wimbledon the previous season.

I'm not saying RD won't renege on that.
