    I've been thinking for a while, reading this thread, that someone should come up with a "Spot the Whelm" competition (possibly @Airman Brown in a fanzine of this parish).

    Basically the same idea as Spot the Ball, but the placing of crosses (low or high) on the picture of signings/rumoured signings to show whether we are over or under whelmed...

    And, there's no prize...

    If it is true that we are signing Reeves and Martin from MK, Id expect them to be announced tomorrow as there contracts are up. Along with any other free signing we may or may not have lined up

    True... I'm just saying that the Reeves / Martin deals wont have been held off until tomorrow just because thats when their Contracts have expired as its not stopped us from announcing another identical case already.

    more wishful thinking on my part than anything

    The article doesn't say he is a target just that he might be a player we should look at.

    If they're announced tomorrow it'll be a coincidence, plenty of free transfers are announced before 30th June or 1st July every summer. We already have ourselves with the signing of Marshall.

    Sometimes they do wait to announce until the last day or day after their contracts expire (maybe the player, us, or the other club that requests this) for example i read the other week that Defoe wanted to wait until his last day hence why it got confirmed today when it was known for a while he was going Bournemouth. Also read that Sandro going from Malaga to Everton that Malaga have asked them to wait to confirm until after 3rd July as that's when their new year on contracts start.
