Not unreasonable that the employees are told first, some of whom may be jobless as a result of new owners taking over. The fact he has taken the opportunity to do so seems to me to increase the ‘should’ to a higher degree of probability.

Anyway, didn’t Richard confirm much the same in his meeting with the Trust?
