Taking just two points from Fleetwood, MKD and now Oldham speaks for itself. The club is rotten to the core from owner downwards. After 59 years, I think my time is up. I detest RD and KM for what they have done. I hope they are proud of themselves. Please just go away.
A good club begins at the top, with a competent senior management team ensuring the playing and coaching staff have sufficient resources to achieve goals set out clearly at the start of the season. We have none of that, were scrambling around in January for three or four players and ended up getting how many? A shambolic set up emanating through to the half arsed, bollockless group of 'players'. Robinson can dress this up however he wants, we have picked up two points from games against Fleetwood, AFC Wimbledon and Oldham. Charlton is not set up to succeed; just sell the club.
Apologies to anyone i might upset. But if you think that we have any chance of ever getting promotion under these cnuts you need to see a doctor fucking quick
Must say Steve if we don't get 3 points Saturday don't think we will make top 6
No wonder you two bottle jobs would not have that bet with me over Christmas!!
It was a strange starting line up, Holmes on the bench and the kid from Arsenal making his professional debut.....
There just aren't enough goals in the team. For all the tricks how many has Watt scored in the last few years....
Watt 11 goals in circa 75 games. Magennis 26 goals in circa 225 games Novak 26 goals in circa 115 games Holmes 22 goals in circa 115 games
You've then got; Da Silva with about 4 pro games to his name, 1 goal Mavididi debut tonight, Aribo 0 goals 11 games Crofts highest appearances this season, 1 goal and a record of around 36 goals in over 400 games, Botaka hasn't scored for years, never scored for us never scored for leeds 100+ career games 11 goals Chicksen 3 careers goals since 2008 (130+ games) Solly 2 career goals in 200+ appearances Bauer 13 career goals in around 150 games Konsa 0 goals around 28 games Forster-Caskey 9 goals in around 115 games
So based on those stats, where is more than one goal a game coming from?
Total, around 160 goals in around 1700 games.
It's lucky the defence is fairly tight or we'd be relegation fodder.
Would just love to hear the views of those who still defend the morons running this club.
I've said before, it's simply perverse to even attempt to defend what they've done and continue to do to OUR club. But there are a some stupid, small-minded people who put there own self-interest and personal grievances before the future of the club.
Whatever it takes, we need to force this vile regime out and restore the heart and soul of OUR great club.

Interestingly I think the worm has turned on the other forum.
Was only a matter of time.
KR was never getting all the signings he needed, even with the Lookman money coming in.
He wants to play an attacking passing game with a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 - for that to work you need the right players. We don't have a proper number 10/playmaker and we don't have enough goals in the team.
RD will eventually run out of patience and sack KR.
All so predictable. Nothing at all to suggest it'll be any different after another transfer window.
It is a problem that clubs at any level can face, It is about numbers. Now not every player is going to be a goal scorer, but you need goals in the team - when you don't have prolific strikers the goals have to come from elsewhere. So first thing - Tex or Konsa - Konsa is a great prospect but not yet a goalscorer - we know Tex knows where the goal is - as we don't have the goals elsewhere that is an opportunity to increase your likliehood to score a fraction. You have to do that throughout the team. Holmes has scored a reasonable amount of goals in relation to his position and starts - so if you don't have the goals elsewhere you have to start him.
Of course what you are doing is increasing your percentages - but you need enough players to inject goals into the side. We are short of them so Tex and Holmes have to be the first names on the teamsheet and neither started! To be honest - goals cost money and lots of clubs at this level have a similar issue - But we are one of them which is depressing.
I think Robinson is an attacking manager and call on him to be a bit ruthless - it might mean dropping players who in one sense don't deserve to be dropped, but if they don't score the goals or create the chances - statistics matter - then you need to find players that can. That isn't to say they won't in the future but goals are needed.
England had the same issue in the Euros - level is irrelevant as it is all relative. Hodgson found a solution by overloading the team with strikers for the second half against Wales. An act of desperation, yes, but a necessity. Unfortuantely he then decides to play his best team, but if your best team don't have goals it isn't your best team!
Whilst we were not inspiring the match stats back this up. We had 57% possession - 11 shots (5 on target) to their 4 (3 on target). We had 16 corners to their 4. These are stats that warrant a 2-0 or 2-1 victory.
Listened on 94.9 radio. (Can't remember the last time Charlton were live on the radio & won).
Magennis through on goal but doesn't score in the first minute. Oldham put their chance away. Charlton not so great first half. Commentator midway said Charlton were not able to keep hold of the ball or retain possession & would be advised to stand firm at the back, & make sure they don"t concede & get o half time, so they can reorganise. Against Oldham ffs.
Second half a lot better, but failed to score, some good saves, sounded like a clear penalty turned down but Oldham sounded more likely to score at the end. Another disappointing result. Unsurprising given the shambolic way the club is run & the team is constantly reshaped & thrown together, as others have mentioned above. Play offs looking a long way off.
Reading the match thread it looked like we battered them, missed loads of good chances, keeper had a stormer, stonewall penalty denied. We've clearly played much worse this season and drawn 1-1.
A fully firing Magennis and we win that one without much difficulty imo - we've just been very unlucky and Robinson hasn't had the chance to build the squad he wants. It's important he's given the summer to do so.
Short-termist 'THE CLUB IS DEAD', 'KR IS TOAST' bulls**t is not helping anyone. The club is being ineptly run, sure, but given our squad, resources etc I think we've hit our floor. The only way really is up.

Weak in the air from the start and they pumped everything long and airborne .. after a few minutes a Konsa mistake, an accurate shot, 0-1 and there it stayed (they also hit the post from yet another aerial attack) .. despite our umpteen corners, weak shots, missed chances, good goal keeping on their part we never really looked like scoring .. something indefinable yet vital is missing from our team and our whole approach ..
we took oh so long to get going probably because of a muddled selection from the start .. Botaka, Mavididi but no Watt or Holmes ?? .. all in all little passion, void of ideas, just cannot score and made to look mugs by a pretty ordinary but hard working and tenacious Oldham outfit .. I have a ticket for Saturday and have paid for a hotel for the week, otherwise I would give Rochdale a wide miss to avoid more embarrassment .. If we play like this they'll muller us .. what's happened to the spirit we showed at Bolton ?
MOM ? Bauer, the best of a poor bunch .. Gerrard, Stevie's cousin, was outstanding for them .. I am sick of giving our players and management the benefit of the doubt .. wake the fuck up and get stuck in or fuck off
The problem is - we sold Lookman and Fox! in the window - I honestly believe £2m of that money could have changed things. Look what Powell was able to do with the Jenkinson money! Ok it isn't my money, but the problem isn't rocket science and we must lose more than £2m playing at this level. We do have some of the best players in this division, but are pathetically shy of scorers rather than missers!

Odd.

His mum will be furious when he comes down with a cold tomorrow.
The palace style enormous ultra flags look hilarious in an empty stadium too.
