Lot of speculation and KR haters on here. Until we know what was said (& I doubt we will ever know the full facts) it is hard to have an opinion. Not sure either why KR has so many haters. He tries to engage with fans and seems to have a real heart for the job. Those that went to Bristol Rovers will have seen a very approachable man, who took the time to speak to at least 2 groups exiting the ground that I saw. I like him although do think he is a little David Brent in his interviews. Since he has been with us we have played far more attractive football than under Slade (not that that would have been hard to achieve, granted). Give the guy a break and measure him on his success. We played well yesterday and certainly deserved all 3 points. The fact that we didn't was down to 2 or 3 players who stopped playing (for what would have been a dubious penalty) and allowing them to counter.
@Spanish i wouldn't say the haters thing is restricted to here. I've just spent 5 mins having a scan of Twitter post match and it seems to be the same picture. He splits people; the majority seem to be in support and like his passion but there's a minority that for one or two reasons just don't warm to him.

If he'd won 10 straight games then barely anything would be said against him. Another scapegoat.
Personally I am ambivalent about KR. Loves himself a bit and I don't feel I have to love him or even like him just because he is our manager. You only have to search old threads on here to see a lot of people disliked him a long time ago, nothing to do with being employed by the regime. I also don't go along with the 'he is representing Charlton view' and should suffer what sounds like quite personal abuse from an employee of another club. You expect it from fans but not an employee from your oppo. Within his rights to react in my opinion if what has been alleged was said.
I think it's quite simple and my advice for him would be that you earn respect and trust and particularly in the case of our club at the moment he hasn't really gone about it the right way.
Be humble. Represent yourself and our club properly and people will give him respect and maybe even time.
Don't come across as a self publicist or regime apologist. Don't spend too much time on the radio or in the newspapers. Show us that you're only focus is bettering our club, squad and team.
Recognise that as the experienced, British based manager many of us have been calling for that you have a great opportunity to enhance ours and your own reputation.
So, quieten down a bit. Spend less time pontificating and procrastinating. Focus on the football and improving the 25% win rate and walk the walk before talking the talk.

Loathe him.....Jesus that's way OTT don't you think. He may be a bit irritating to some (I'm not too put out by him actually, he's perhaps a bit mouthy at times) but I honestly can't see why you would loathe him....FFS that word is normally used for someone that's done something way way out of order and I'm not aware of him having done anything to justify you loathing him? An odd comment ps if I may say so. I understand that he's well liked at Sparrows Lane and the dressing room is pretty stable at present.
I mean , it's not as if Slade was abused by some "so called" Charlton fans for months but some of those same fans are getting very precious in their defence of Robinson
Storm in a tea cup. Disliked person gets abuse and nasty banner and reacts. World keeps spinning regardless shock.
Result remains a draw shock.
Hopefully, groundsman sacked, flag owners dealt with, AFCW fined and Robinson starts winning games.
Groundsman is a reflection of the scummy fans that AFC attract.
You let your club die, get over it.
This 100%. Fucking scummy little clubs both this and the original one.
Why? Really, please just explain this to me. What was your experience of AFCW before and during this season, that brought you to such an extreme conclusion?
My experience of AFC covers their time in non-league. They claim to have been the saviours of non league with their big following , but they treated other non league clubs with arrogance and condescending. Far from being the saviours they were obnoxious and unwelcome, their deliverance from our division (Ryman 1 South I think) was a relief.
Overall, AFC fans* come over as if the rest of us owe them, as far as I am concerned we don't. They were not queueing up to watch their team before it upped sticks to MK and whilst it's not a move I condone they were contributory to their own fate.
*Like any fan Base I am sure there is a wide spectrum of fans with different attitudes, I only seem to have come across the "bleeding hearts."
They were playing at Selhurst Park, which was a factor - neither for that matter were Charlton fans "queuing up" to attend The Valley in 1985, but I'm not sure I'd accept that it has any relevance to what happened to us.

It's called an opinion HI and you tend to deliver your sermon more than most on here.

So many keyboard cowards on here that would not dare make the same disgusting remarks to KR's face. Robinson is OUR manager. Warts and all. I wish you abusers would take off and find another club to infest.
I'm a fan of Robinson, and get annoyed when he gets unnecessary stick here and on Twitter. Yes he's gobby and generally a bit OTT, but he's brought energy to the set up. But fans are often divided over their manager, (unless they're Chelsea supporters at the moment), and people get heated and moan they way fans do.
But your comment above is just you abusing those fans in exactly the same way the were abusing KR. Their annoyance with KR is nothing to do with the ownership issues imho, they're just reacting like normal fans who's team can't seem to win when they need to. I might argue KR's corner, but I'm not going to call the fans traitors because they don't like his style of management.
Unfortunately we're in a league that seems to reward big, physical teams who play the long ball game, and we struggle to contain those sides. And as I'm sure you've noticed, the transfer window resulted in RD improving his bank balance when, if he had any ambition for the club, he might have invested some of the money on a couple of extra players, rather than relying on loanees. It's so frustrating becuse with just a small improvement in the squad I genuinely feel we could be in the top five or six by now.

So you've never liked nor disliked any manager over the years? Same on players? Part of football is feeling a special connection with a player or a manager, some you do some you don't. Even Curbishley had his haters so it's not all about results in that respect. Many on here and elsewhere thought Fox was rubbish, I and some others quite liked him.
I don't like to see a manager ready or trying to fight with another member of staff or supporter at the opposing club, regardless of what was said or how much he was provoked. If every player acted like that then there would be a fight most weeks ala Cantona.
The problem is it sends a certain message, a manager has to be able to show restraint otherwise how can he have the respect and control of the players, can you imagine JJ doing that? No, he'd have more control and be able to control the players due to that, same for Powell and Riga.
Lets hope RoJo doesn't play soon as after this episode he'll be in the stands fighting with our supporters.
I'm fairly neutral on KR at the moment, he seems an improvement on the last few from a playing style perspective but so far results haven't followed and ultimately thats what RD will decide on as to the length of his stay, he's on par really with Slade in that respect. But then we probably expected the status quo as he's got the same type of squad in that it's simply not good enough or strong enough for a play off position.
We've scored 12 goals since the beginning of December, 12 games which included putting 4 past Bristol. 37 scored this season of which nearly a quarter have been against Bristol in 2 games, we just don't score enough to make any form of challenge for the play offs, although goals aren't everything just ask Bury. If it wasn't for the fact our defence has proved reasonably tight (from a goals conceded perspective) we'd be a lot lower. Only 1 in 3 games do we score more than 1 goal.
I was there and have heard on good authority that the groundsman's comment was 'hope you die' or along those lines.
Whatever any of us or AFC fans think or KR, it was well out of order.
There was also a large crowd waiting for our team coach to depart and KR got a lot more abuse and covered in beer, allegedly.
I'm not particularly a KR fan nor criticiser - just reporting.
No , whatever you do, 'Charlton supporter', don't be on OUR manager's side. You are obviously another one frightened by the likely reaction of the bullies on here. You know, like the one's that go to home games and have to say they got a free ticket because their friend's dog found it in the back garden.
What bullies on here? I've only been posting for a year or so here, but I haven't seen any bullying. Debate and sometimes heated differences of opinion, yes, but never threats and abuse like I've noticed on your favourite forum.

Again, a needless and silly personal attack from you. Read @Weegie Addick 's comment again. She is saying the groundsman, not KR, is well out of order. How can that be anything other than fair, reasonable and mature?
I believe that you will re-read Weegie's comment (which includes a minor typo) and accept that you mis-understood, and will apologise to her.) If you choose not to do so, we will all make our own conclusions, knowing that on your preferred forum, she is one of those who has had threads started with her name as the title, dedicated to abusing her. As I have. Apparently.
There's some real sanctimonious nonsense on here - we are all human and we all have our limits - if you say something sufficiently insulting and provocative I defy the best of us not to react - now let's move on and start winning football matches
That banner was wrong and should've been removed immediately. How long was it up for?
I noticed it for at least five minutes. When KR saw it he turned to the fans, who were already singing his name, and shrugged and grinned. The fans at the actual match were very supportive of him. Never heard a single word of abuse directed at him or the team after the final whistle. The players seem to really like him - you can see that through their interactions with him throughout the match, but before and after especially. Watt was great to watch, desperate to play well, desperate for approval also. If his second strike had gone in we'd still be singing his praises today, and the nature of the remarks on this forum and on Twitter would be very different. That's what is so frustrating, we're close, but no cigar.
I accept that if the words spoken to him were offensive then he is entitled to feel outraged. Hopefully it will be dealt with properly by AFC Wimbledon.
I get that football is emotional, tensions run high and that in the heat of the battle things will be said and done that might be regretted later.
However, he has to control that emotion better. I'm sure people know that he gets wound up and therefore he is an easy target for those who enjoy seeing others act in a stupid way.
This didn't happen in a club or pub after hours. It happened while he was working and in the public eye.
I've been abused and insulted at work. My job is incredibly important to me and I put a hell of a lot of emotion into it.
But I have to retain my professional integrity. I have to respond in a way that justifies the position I hold and the money I earn. My response has to represent the status I have in my organisation.

They were not queuing up to see their team before they were at Selhurst either! In any case I was responding to Prague request for reasons why they are disliked, that's my reason.

I was there, beer was thrown at him but hit the police more than anything.
Konsa and Watt giving it back to the AFC fans when '1-0 and you f*cked it up' was sung.
Another scapegoat.
