    WOW !

Don't believe I've ever read such a comprehensive, factual & damning communication to the regime since they started to feck up our famous club back in January 2014 !

    Absolutely brilliant !

Is the SLP printing CARD's response ? I sincerely hope so to bring this to the attention of more of the faithful as well as the boot lickers. IMHO there isn't one single word that could be challenged & the more people that read it the better.

Who'll volunteer to post a copy through Sue Perks' letter box together with her very own CARD enamel badge ?

I can't wait to learn of her response on Facebook to this latest response !

Keep the faith in CARD !

Tried to post it on SE7 Valiants. Seems it's been set so my posts have to be approved before appearing! (Is that possible?)

Seems I'm on some kind of watch list.
It's posted. Sue is currently sticking pins in they eyes of her picture of me on her 'CARD infiltrators watch list' on her pin board.
Seems there are more 'Charlton life/CARD infiltrators' in that group than they thought.
I joined the other day in the temp window of opportunity. Nothing to argue with so far. All posts anti regime today.
That'll be my fault. Sue isn't happy with me.
  • Will the club now not just block any Lower West purchases?
  • Being the helpful sort, you may want to have a look Katrien

  • Will the club now not just block any Lower West purchases?

    Still plenty available
  • Will the club now not just block any Lower West purchases?

I''ve just checked the website there are plenty of seats available in the cheaper blocks A & H,£17/£20 but i would think that they will probably block sales in the lower west early next week.
  • Could someone inform the Coventry Fans that the only direct trains to Charlton on the 15th are from Victoria via Lewisham and Blackheath. The trains from Dartford are running as normal to Charlton.
  • How many fans do we think Coventry will bring. Anyone from CARD in touch with them re: the joint match, just be good to know what numbers we can add to our ranks. Love to see a couple of 1000 at least behind that west stand before the game
  • I can see the articles about this but not the actual email that KM sent. Can anyone post the text up please?
  • It would seem that it is still possible to buy tickets really quite close to the directors box....

Say in block d rows c to f.

Good view of the game from there I reckon.

    On the other thread @Arsenetatters

  • @Davo55 - I've looked at that one and can only see the CARD response. I guess I'm being a complete tit but I still can't see the KM initial email.

    too late

It's Bromley Addicks turn to meet the SMT before the Coventry game

After a lot of debate we accepted the invitation and will of course be both "adult" and "non-threatening" in our questioning as we were requested.

Other than that anything is allowed it seems. Looking forward to meeting Katrien and especially Tony.

Bromley Addicks is a big group and of course there is a range of views about the regime just within the seven people on the committee. The majority decision was to have the meeting after guarantees that anyone who was a member could attend and we could ask any questions we liked.

Fully expect criticism from a few on here and elsewhere, some valid, some not and some nonsense from the "time to target...." keyboard warriors. CARD know the meeting is taking place I'm told and all our members were told about it weeks ago.

I'll report back on what was said over the weekend but there are plenty of other Bromley Addicks who are also lifers so they will be contributing too.

    "Just sell the club
    Our famous football Club"

I have a question for her that someone who lives in the Bromley Jurisdiction could kindly ask. @cafc luke

Katrien, you have said in the past Roland doesnt do failure. You have also said that you are in charge of the day to day running of to he club. This is backed up by Mr Duchatelet saying he doesn't spend much time on us because we are only 1.5% of business interest...

In light of this, does this mean that the catastrophic failure of the last two and a half years are entirely down to you? And if so WHY ARE YOU STILL FUCKING HERE?!?
As a member of Bromley Addicks, I would be only to happy to ask this question... no point in being "nice" and "polite" in such situations. Hard line questions with strong, planned follow up points will be important. I'm extremely uncomfortable (to say the least) with how the club is run, the least that should happen is Meire being extremely uncomfortable through a bit of questioning

Well thank fuck for that - it's not just me.
I can't find it either. The closest I found was the comments hidden away at the bottom of the Mail article:

A Charlton Athetic spokesperson confirmed the club has written to CARD to invite the group to meet with the club's Senior Management Team at The Valley: 'Everyone at Charlton Athletic, whether staff or fans, have the club’s best interests at heart.

'Last season we made numerous mistakes on and off the pitch which resulted in relegation and disengaged fans. Over the summer we have worked hard to start rebuilding the club. We recruited Russell Slade, an experienced, British manager, and proven players who know the league. We want to rebuild the club with the help and support of our fans.

'Already this season we’ve increased our engagement with fans, we’ve hosted a Meet The Manager evening for season ticket holders and the club’s CEO Katrien Meire has hosted Q&A sessions on matchdays with various official fan groups. These are in addition to our regular meetings with fans via the Fans Forum and the Target 20k group.

'While we respect CARD’s right to protest, we are concerned that they have chosen to restart their protests and call for disruptive actions during matchdays. The manager and the players will need all the support they can get to give Charlton Athletic the best opportunity to challenge for promotion to the Championship this season. With this in-mind we have requested a meeting with CARD to look at how we can potentially begin working with them on a process of rebuilding this great club.'

The night is young for Mr Tatters. He says something about putting the cat out and then disappears for hours. And we haven't got a cat.

Funny you should say that but she's already contacted me about your drinking at away matches. She's much more generous than you and has offered to buy a round.
