I don't know alot about sue parkes......but knowing what I know of sue parkes, just on the basis that she is a long term wife of what sounds like a loyally attached long serving hard working club employee...I will say the following, sue..... I also know just from your comments that a thread with your name to it, on a Charlton forum, Christmas may have come early for you....oh yes.....it's all about MEEEEEEEE
Let's see, so, if I had a wife...and we were married for a long time. She worked her poor little tits off in a restaurant doing a minimum of 60 hours a week....and this restaurant in particular was suddenly in a sad heavy heavy rapid decline.
The 1st thing I would do is start a Facebook group, because that's what you would do in situation like that. (I may also consider myself a rather "unique" individual for caring so much about my wife's organisation because I have no alternative hobbies)
Then I would go down to my wife's restaurant....make sure she can't get a word in, doesn't have time to tell me that my opinion isn't wanted (or neccessary or relevant), and more importantly, can't tell me to F*ck off (hopefully also because she's too knackered)..... and then I would slowly walk over to the last remaining customer, and tell him that it's his fault he isn't fond of spaghetti bolanasge that does not contain any mince. (I could obviously understand why they would leave this out as it benefits cost cutting even though the owner of the restaurant is in fact the very wealthy well known, belgian restaraunt owner - Jamaie oliveoar)
Then I would make sure all the ex customers that used to rather enjoy a nice Saturday night out at this particular restaraunt, knew that they perhaps complained too much, to the point where it actually affected the efficiency of the business so they kind of need to accept responsibility for being honest about hating meals that contain faeces. You should be OK with it, I remind them, on Facebook. "You didn't help the chef's....it's your job to massage the chef's back, as a paying customer, while he prepares your food....even though you've been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years"
You need to take responsibility for being upset when a waiter from the network casually tells you he F*cked ya mum while asking if you would like to see the desert menu.
Then I would "come back into the room", sit my wife down and tell her it's maybe about time she thought about working somewhere else. Might be nice. Maybe come back once the c*nt that owns it has packed his bags.
I'm sure if it was Sue Keohane spouting off like this everyone would be just as defensive of the ramblings from this lady .
I hate this regime but if the CEO ,who clearly won't go , showed just an ounce of humility and responsibility and publically on behalf of the club held her hands up as to how wrong their approach has been throughout their tenure then my angst towards this ownership would ease just a little bit . But I know for a fact that she has been advised to take this approach but the ******* **** won't do it . Get out of OUR club

Well done @Dave2l you've certainly learnt from paragraphgate
The telling thing is that Sue's views aren't shared by people sitting around her in the directors' box, hence the public rows she has had with former directors. A couple of weeks ago I went to see another former director who I won't name but is universally respected. He also supports the protests.
Her views aren't shared by the long-term sponsors who have quit. They aren't shared by staff who have left the club and they aren't shared by many of the staff working there now. They aren't shared by the hierarchy of the community trust and they aren't shared by any of the people who have been there and done it as far as running the club is concerned, which Sue never has.
They are only shared by the small group of people clustered around Meire whose positions are dependent on the regime continuing. So the best thing to do with her is to ignore her.
if anyone wants to know what would happen if the current labour leadership was in charge of anything, look no further than CAFC... Corbyn-esque levels of leadership by meire, only keep around those that agree with you!
The only complete and utter difference between the two is the supporters of the Labour Party are with Corbyn, the supporters of Charlton are against Meire. Other than that, spot on...
The majority of members, not labour "supporters" or voters...
I don't know any Labour supporters who don't want Corbyn. But I am sure they are out there, the same as there are Charlton fans putting money in RD's pocket. I would say the split was probably about the same.

Personally don't think the players or management are to blame - its all down to the protestors. Once all the supporters have left the team will do brilliantly - club is doing its best to get rid of those pesky supporters. Sue sounds like an intellectual giant - hopefully can help KM.

Yeh soon as the fans f*ck off we might get some points on the board, maybe even make the playoffs.

We haven't even said sorry yet.
We keep making excuses and keep lying
I think we walk L1 if those pesky fans get behind the team, the CEO and RD. Personally I think KM is doing a brilliant job and RD is a great owner. All those scamps who protested last season are destroying the club.

In fairness Beds, in Biggleswade you are considered a dangerous communist if you don't put up bunting for Hitlers birthday, don't know all the words to the Horst Wessel song and refer to those of a darker skin hue as anything other than "rag heads"...

I used to know one who was somewhat go the left of Corbyn. But she moved from Putney to St Albans and somehow had a Damascian conversion into a true blue dyed in the wool Conservative.
