4 more years of Naby Sarr. 3 more years of Bergdich. 2 more years of El Hadji Ba.
These really are golden times to be a Charlton fan.38 -
thanks @Scoham great work as ever2
-
I thought Josh Staunton had signed a new deal recently?
Edit... Ignore me, the Contract signed was until the end of this season1 -
can't believe you have omitted the great Yuk Suk Yung or whatever his name was.0

Good spot, have updated the list.LargeAddick said:can't believe you have omitted the great Yuk Suk Yung or whatever his name was.

So there are 24 players including the two with options but not the U21s
of those 24 we can expect to sell
Hendo
JBG
Lookman
Cousins
Watt
That leaves 19 players
The club may also wish to move on to save on wages
Johnson
Texeria
Sarr
Cebellos
Ba
Tucudean
That leaves 13 players
We need to get a manager and a scout in ASAP3 -
I'd even add Bauer and Igor to that particular listHenry Irving said:So there are 24 players including the two with options but not the U21s

And we won't be able to pay the wages of the bigger salaried players, so expect Vetokele, Kashi, Diarra, and Bauer to be sold or loaned out (once they are fit).Henry Irving said:So there are 24 players including the two with options but not the U21s

Why do we need a Manager in ASAP if we've only 13-players left
Its clear the Manager wont be signing any players else Chris Wilder would now be our boss2 -
Is Sam Bone not the 16 yr old that was playing above his age group for the u18 final against Brentford last year or was that someone else?2

The most depressing thing is that we've got Roger Johnson for another year. It's not as if anyone is going to be beating down the door to sign him ...4
-
Blimey, I didn't realise we had so much work to do.1
-
I think Tucudean would be very good in league one!!6
-
I think most of the players RD brought in would be perfect when we get to League 2, perhaps that is his idea0
-
I'm sure we've looked even more threadbare in the past ...0
-
Surely we only need eighteen players, then we don't even need a manager or a chief scout as that's eleven on the pitch and seven on the subs' bench.3
-
Cheers @Scoham0

Yeah that League 1 's an absolute doddle .AddicksAddict said:Surely we only need eighteen players, then we don't even need a manager or a chief scout as that's eleven on the pitch and seven on the subs' bench.

That's 12 senior players, generously counting KAG and THD. To that I'd add the following are hopefully ready to at least be on the fringes of the senior squad:
Mitov
Phillips (if retained)
Konsa
Charles-Cook
Muldoon
Umerah
A total of 18 players, 6 stepping up from the U-21s with little senior football experience between them.1 -

Just look at the length of them contracts, fantastic stuff!
How much money will Douchbag need to part with to move the unwanted players on.
It's a fact in football that getting rid is as hard and can be as costly as recruiting, there's gonna be more than a few who's agent will be advising them, sit tight mate until you get a deal worth having!
No wonder he won't give the say so on players to a manager!
Propa MONEY PIT!
Enjoy it twat head it will cost you millions!3 -
I hope we sign young Yamfam - he looked great the other night in the Under 18s game.0
-
Dont see us keeping Ceballos... He's never really been in favour under anyone but Luzon
See the club cutting their loses with him0 -
Problem is that moving players on big wages on isn't easy.
If they are not very good then few clubs want them and certainly won't pay the wages we have. So the player, quite rightly, hangs around.
Especially when there is no manager to pick who to keep, no chief scout to find replacements and no Dir of Football to make deals. Just Katrien who made the mess in the first place.

I thought I was depressed enough about the state of our club - and then I saw that list!
Fuck me, four more years of Nabby Sarr?
It must've escaped me at the time, but what we're we doing handing out four and five year contracts all over the place? The agents must've been pissing themselves.

I'd pay particular attention to the U21 development squad list, as I suspect we will be seeing a lot of them next year2

There does seem to be a player there, and he seems a decent guy as well, but his non appearances have been a real mystery. He played the first half against Colchester, has he been seen again after that?ForeverAddickted said:Dont see us keeping Ceballos... He's never really been in favour under anyone but Luzon

I saw him in the 1-1 draw with Forest which was just before Colchester and I thought he showed some good touches, like Lookman I dont think League One will be too bad for his development if he wants to stay in England.killerandflash said:
