I am pleased to hear that the regime has only sold a couple of thousand Seasons so far but it has left me wondering why the hell even one person would buy one??!!
Do they support Roland's regime? Are they looking forward to another two years of such (presumably in the conference by then)? Is it the top rate football?
Seriously I a baffled how any self-respecting Charlton supporter could bring themselves to buy a ticket with this lot in charge and when the cracks are beginning to show.

I have. I totally agree with getting these twats out of the club. However, my seats are where I have sat with my late Father and family ( 4 generations at times ) for 24 years. If I don't get them there is a chance I will lose them at some stage in the future. I am in favour of CARD and have put some money in, and intend to put some more in in the future. I think the damage is done now and the brand is toxic. Something dramatic will happen over the summer months and RD will sell. But as I say, my seat is very important to me for the position which represents where I stood as a kid over 50 years ago. You may not like it, but that is how I feel. For various reasons this is the first season in 54 years I haven't seen them win a game. I don't relate to ANY of the current squad except possibly Jackson. As far as I'm concerned they can all do one and we should start again. Hopefully without the bloody Belgians.

That is exactly why they threatened to release tickets to general sale, exactly why they manages to sell 3,500 and exactly why they shouldn't be allowed to run our club.
I think all fans have a right to choose what they do about tickets but I think criticising people for wanting to protect their family's seats is most unfair and makes those fans as much of a bully as RD and KM!

What's a better way of protesting ? a) turning up at a match (al la Brighton yesterday) and letting the regime and world's press know there are a lot of fans that are upset and will keep on doing so; or b) not turning up at a match (or any match) and letting the regime get on with it and showing the world's press that charlton fans no longer care ?

Or, what's a better way of showing the regime that you don't support them?: a) improving the financial viability of the Duchatelet experiment by the purchase of tickets or b) undermining it by the non-purchase of same?
There's more than one way of looking at the question, without either viewpoint being wrong.
Also, I think that we can safely assume that, following the relegation, the World's press will be much more likely to show the Charlton fans that the press no longer cares. We might as well be playing in Mongolia for all the interest we'll get from those fixated with the Premiership.

This, and the fact that it will become repetitive. There are only so many ways the fans can 'increase the protests' before they hit a ceiling. In the end the headline will become 'The Charlton fans are still protesting'. If we manage to have every half of football at The Valley delayed by five to ten minutes in the end it has no effect at all. As people get used to it it becomes the norm and we will find ourselves so much easier to ignore if we are a disgruntled third division club. Sad but true!

No-one said it's going to be easy, kha.
But surely you must wonder how the CARD "leaders" have managed to create so many different means of protesting thus far ? Do you really believe they will run out of ideas & simply fade into the background ? I can hear RD & KM now muttering " I wish! "
Their talents, ideas and energy to see each one through , whether highly successful or perhaps less so, should be lauded and I'm certain that, when this nightmeire season is consigned to history, it will be known as the "CARD season" , not the relegation one.
In fact, as well as preparing a banner for the Burnley match , I'm going to start a " Stand up if you love the CARD !" chant....they surely deserve it.
These guys ( and their followers) are here for the long haul....as long as it takes.
A combination of embarrassing publicity and financial pressure is what will convince Roland to sell - Nothing else. He is not worried about the history of the club or fans connection to and love of Charlton. Two more years with Roland at the helm and the club will be destroyed.
Personally I think missing a few games, or possibly sitting in a different seat, is a price worth paying to save the club we all love. I also think that an empty stadium speaks as loudly as shouting crowds.
Every penny that goes into Rolands pocket delays his departure.

You really should Keep the Faith.
You misunderstood me Fanny. I wasn't knocking CARD, their efforts or their successes. I was just pointing out that it is going to be difficult to keep the press interested when we are in the wilderness of the third division.
I don't have much faith in the current lot making us competitive so we will probably get less and less media attention next season.
Doesn't mean we can't make RD's and KM's life difficult but I believe that if they weather this storm (of adverse media attention) then it will subside a little as we become less interesting to the public and the media.
