Pinocchio isn't "damned if she does and damned if she doesn't".
She can resign and leave our club and the "damning" will stop immediately. Simple solution.
All the time she remains we're "damned" to a future with no hope or expectations so why should she have it any different?
I agree.
She is damned because she does not know what to do, that will result in positive outcomes. This is not surprising because she is manifestly unqualified to do the job. She is unqualified to be the CEO of anything since she has no previous business experience whatsoever, nor has she led a team of significant size.
If she really was a CEO, of a business run as such, she would be dismissed, because all KPIs have been missed.

So true ... I have worked with senior people in many industries and have never come across a person so badly qualified or prepared for the CEO role.
It defies logic that she has this role ...but that is obviously as Roland wants it ...an easily controlled puppet who will defend him at all costs as no-one else would give her such a position.
Actually I stood outside the covered end collecting votes until 5 minutes before kick off on both games but you cannot see everyone. Jordan Cousins polled 41% of the votes so the winner was not in doubt.

Have they? We know RD wants to see more academy players in the team - 6 debuts this season, Lennon getting a lot more games and many signed up long term. He also wants money brought in from player sales (Gomez last summer, Lookman this whether we stayed up or not) so we move closer to breaking even.
The quality of football and results aren't as important to him. Charlton is somewhere for people to get together, see future Prem stars and enjoy a day out.
They'll underestimate League One like they did the Championship. It's a new chance to try out network players at a lower level, and for the same reason give even more games to academy players. In RDs eyes if we only finish mid table in League One but are close to breaking even and several academy players are in the team he'll probably see it as a success.
More U21 players can be regulars (in our building season).
Coaching and other line 1 staff cost less.
Lower mid-table is the aim because the year after we may challenge for a play off place while sticking to the revenue neutral mantra.
Hello? Lessons learned?
1) spend more than you want to on manager and staff who you allow to make decisions because they know better than you
2) don't spend money on any football talent yourself, rely on your staff
3) ask for a core of talent that is either top quality (Diarra with an apprentice) or bid well scouted and will stay for 3 years at least.
4) Note that Solly, Fox, Cousins, Harriott, Holmes-Dennis, Lookman are key to 3). They are not dollar signs, they are the start of core. Build a core. of you do not you will bail again.
5) recognise you have failed as a result of your own actions and admit to this publically ensuring that your communications team agree.
6) having not done any of 1-5, the protests finally make your mind up. You will sell at a much greater loss than if you had listened in November 15, now in May 16, and later.
You had many chances and we can say today you are a failure. Please don't make your failure more extreme.
