that is a strange one as we've struggled against borough in recent years.

Felt if we had held out for the goalless draw it would have been a fair result. Found it tough at the other end.

The club is not in disarray whatsoever though. Everything is going exactly to plan. Just splash enough in January to avoid relegation and repeat season after season until wanker Duchatelet and his insiduous puppet Miere decide to leave.

    We were very very poor.

Playing for a draw was acceptable. What wasn't was the attitude of the team (apart from Solly) when we went down to 10 men and a goal behind. For the last 10 mins we walked around while Reading played keep ball as if it were a training exercise. The lack of fight and leadership was very worry. Hopefully the abuse the players got from a large section when applauding the fans will serve as motivation for Tuesday.

Sethplum on match thread said: If we lose the next two Luzon will be sacrificed anyway. If that happens I would beg Hasslebaink to take over.

Right now, I'd beg Bank of America to take over.

I think Katrien would save money by appointing Igor but pretending that it's JFH.

They look similar so she'd get away with it

Changing manager every few months won't solve anything.

Does anyone know anything about the current ujpest boss? Guessing he'll be our new manager when Luzon gets sacked in a couple of months.

    Deluded.

Do you really think abuse motivates players?

Don't think Luzon will be sacked just yet.

Actually up until their goal we could have been happy with the performance and it probably went a bit pear shaped as soon as jackson got subbed. We had two shots but if your main striker is karlan what do you expect? The player quality was overall not good enough especially up front and given Reading's form I would have been happy with a point and were it not for the sending off we could have held out for a draw. The embarrassing thing was not the team but some of our fans who not only have anger management issues but also are old enough to know better.

Let's look at our so called leadership team.

RD never here, only bloke in the world who thinks he can run a championship team and make money!

RM as with the previous regime only here for the ride.

KM inexperianced puppet no idea how to run a football club or communicate with its customers.

GL little experiance and no real track record, a complete nutter a la Basil Fawlty.

Is it any wonder we are where we are now.

Was it two yellows or a straight red?

In other words one game or three?
  • Reading are a good side. Well organised at the back and carry a real threat coming forward, especially down the right hand side. Luzon could do with showing our lads a video of the way Blackman made space for himself with his movement.

Solly, Bauer and Diarra (my player of the season so far) make 3/4 of a fine back four. Pope was excellent today, really commanding. Jackson's not quite fit, and he and the hard working Cousins struggled to impose themselves. The main problem is that our system relies on the two wide men and the two strikers to provide the creative impetus. Macaleney was poor, Gudmundsen was worse and Moussa and KAG are too lightweight to live off the kind of scraps we could create today.

We were pretty awful first half and very lucky to go in at nil nil. Much better second half until the sending off. Obviously a good halftime talk from Guy. Once the goal went in there was no fight whatsoever, though.

Oh well. At least we don't have to play Reading every week!

Onwards and upwards. Let's get some players fit.
  • But apart from a good season in League 1 and reasonable first one back in the champ we've been shit for years. Why is it RDs fault now?

    67:30 Dismissal Dismissal
Second yellow card to Patrick Bauer (Charlton Athletic) for a bad foul.

I don't know much about football, as we all know on here but, I have always loved Charlton Athletic and it sickens me how RD's tenure is shaping up. So so predictable and I am on the verge of just not summoning up enough interest to check out my beloved CL as well.

Thoroughly disapointed again and to make it worse my Premiership accumulator went down the pan with a 90th minute equaliser for Leicester at St Marys... £2 stake turned to £597 potential winnings and then instantly to a £0 smack in the kisser!

Replacing Luzon will solve nothing. A couple of decent loanees and some fit players would help.

Luzon will doubtless be shown the door soon, but really the squad is so thin and injury prone ( is this why we could afford most of them?) I doubt anyone would make much difference.

I can't see what can be gained by giving GL the big E. I think the problem is higher than that. Not that I think he's any good but I don't think Superman could help us with the current set up.

Not a lot is gained by getting rid of Luzon, but it is the only card the regime seems to be able to play.
What they need is a miracle worker prepared to work under their constraints.

Interesting that at the start of the season Luzon said we would attack and go for the win every week and then this was served up today

That was when he had quite a good squad to choose from.
Now he is trying to manage a bad situation. He's not gone out there to have us play fancy football. He's just desperate to get the points away from home and perhaps have better to choose from Tuesday.
The fella needs to be given a bloody chance, and the owner and CEO must back him sooner rather than January - if they give him that long.

Why did bergdich start instead of Fox?
  • Another defeat. No wins in 7 league matches. 3 out of the next 4 matches after massive for our season.

Preston, Brentford and franchise with boro.

We are in a relegation battle. Need to start winning at home again because we do not look like winning away.

No away wins since Blackpool last march.

    I am worried.
