My mate sent me "History Debunked" recently. It's totally unlike anything you will see on YT. No expense spared on the set/studio/equipment and presented by a bloke you might see buried in the newspapers at the local library. But the content is actually thoroughly researched. And he often explores questions and goes to places that most podcasts fear to go to... With no malice or apparent agenda.
Warning ~ woke fans and the politically correct brigade will not like it all. Truth fans will find an abundance to ponder over the morning cornflakes (or should that be "snowflakes"!)

LOL the feminization of British Boys and the racism of black people I'm sure has nooo agenda or malice. One of my favorite tropes is "there's no agenda, just truth" when it's confused for "it perfectly backs up my reactionary views!"
Bloke has a great soup strainer though. Can't take that away from him.
Only 13 minutes, but it features two US servicemen that were involved with the last gasp evacuation. Desperate decisions and dilemmas. Actions that ultimately led to 420 poor souls left in the embassy compound.

Without even looking it up, this was exactly as I thought it’d be. Is there an episode decrying the loss of religion by any chance?
Another vote for Londongrad, certainly eye opening, even if so far (up to episode 5) a little evidence light.
Worth a listen to Battleground Falklands, which has morphed to Battleground Ukraine. Both fantastic and immaculately researched. The Ukraine one is obviously ongoing but provides a tonne of detail you’d usually have to search deeply for.

the kind of guy who claims porn is ruining civilisation and the world is run by pedos and then turns out to have a hard drive full of the stuff.
The Rest is Politics - Alastair Campbell & Rory Stewart. Good, objective discussions on politics, not just the UK and they’ve had some very good guests on recently too.
The Price of Football - Kevin Maguire and Kevin Day - football finances pod and the Charlton Dossier gets an almost weekly shoutout.
Around the NFL - if you like NFL it’s the best out there. Not too serious and just a great group of people hosting it. Sadly Wess died last year.
Tortoise, Slow News - in-depth stories from around the world. I recommend at least listening to the Rwanda one.
Londongrad - Investigative look at Boris and his pals from the Kremlin.
Everyone should listen to The Price of Football. He may not mention the Dossier *every* week but he has been its most consistent media supporter, and has been equally supportive of other clubs in similar distress. He’s got his own dossier of Wrong’uns, apparently.
And Londongrad. Trust me, it’s jaw-dropping. Don’t listen while shaving, as I did on holiday
Interesting one, I thought he was guilty but there was issues with the conviction, I don't think he had a fair trial.
yep read this... i just think the fact an eye witness saw adnan with the body makes it pretty open and shut to me. There were problems with the trial etc which were bad but... I kind of think he did it.

Sounds like you didn’t previously listen to undisclosed…
I didn't mate, just Serial!
In which direction so you think it would have swayed me?
I couldn’t tell you as I couldn’t be less interested in either but being a murder/death/kill podcast widow, I think my wife would tell you it’s much less likely that he did it….
Apologies if already mentioned, but came across Under the Cosh on YouTube. The Brian Laws episode including stories of Cloughie is very funny especial about wanting to do his coaching badges. Lots of other good episodes too, Mark Crossley with more tales about Clough.

The Paolo Di Canio stories from the ex Swindon bloke is really funny! Nicky Weaver is a annoying but does a good Jerome Thomas impression that's pretty funny!
Absolutely have to recommend JaackMaate's Happy Hour, but it's an awful first listen (lots of inside jokes that you'll grow to love) so I'll be back later to recommend an episode
Fozcast is brilliant on spotify, Ben Foster mostly a review of the weekends premier league but i find him really likeable. He has had a one off special interviewing Stephen Hendry, not your typical podcast as it's a video one, highly recommend it!
I've really enjoyed Simon Jordan's podcast of late, i know he is very opinionated but a very clever bloke. I particularly like when he interviews footballers eg. David James last week was a good one, John Barnes a couple weeks before too, covers lots of subjects like their upbringing and just challenges there thinking and really interesting.
I have listened to a couple of the boxers ones too but they aren't as interesting for me.
Anybody got the suggestion for a podcast on Alexander the Great? I've started to listen to one on Napoleon which i'm quite enjoying, was wondering if there was something similar for Alexander, preferably something that isn't super dry like a university history lecture, i've had enough of those I never listened to properly.
I know it’s the biggest in the country by a mile, but the News Agents is outstanding pretty much every evening
I’m a fan, but I didn’t know it was already so big.
Constantly number one in the charts, did 24million downloads in the first 6 months, and benefits from the cross pollination with LBC, with Sopel, Matliss and the excellent Lewis Goodall appearing on James O'Brien and Sheleigh Fogarty's show on a regular basis, and Lewis having his own gig on LBC (and likely JoBs next holiday cover)

If you like Bob’s absurd humour an weird anecdotes then you’ll like this.
it’s a lot like a sketch show with a load of recurring segments
start on episode 8, give it a few eps if you need
