Well done the board. A sensible solution to a tricky problem. We have to beat them now, keep them in our division, and expect to get three and a half sides of their ground when we are going for promotion down there next year! COYR's
Just hope Bulot is now on the raw meat diet and assertive training for his encounter with Francis - Callum never could do the job properly but I've a feeling Freddie will be rather more successful. And in the cunning old bstard stakes my head tells me that TBH may have the edge on our old favourite.
It seems to me that a big chunk of Charlton "supporters" want the opposition to win a game at the Valley. And the last game of the season to boot.
I want us to kick the b***ards from one end of the pitch to the other. I want us to beat them 10-0. I want to make sure a certain Frenchman never to be able to kick a football ever again.
Why is this? Because they are the opposition. For 2 games a season, every team in the division is the enemy. Whether they be Bournemouth, Brentford or Birmingham.
Sod 'em. And if Kermegant gets both his legs broken, maybe, finally, we can stop the Yann lovers demand we re-sign him when he's 53, because "he can still do a job". To me, he is the enemy, and I HATE him.
This slightly angers me and I don't know why, bit like accommodating a party at your own house for everyone else to have their fun, and to top it off the former love of your life is attending, and not to help you out.
It doesn't directly affect me but it does friends I drink with before and travel away with. They are not happy at being moved and I don't blame them. I would be livid if I was told I was to be moved from a seat I had 'guaranteed' for a season and sat in for years, then offered some of the sub standard food as a 'bribe'. To allow an away fan to sit there.especially when I had just shelled out to renew /guarantee aforementioned seat for 2015-16 The fans should have been consulted first and aS a minimum the club should offer each affected fan a face value refund at the price of their seat for a gold game and a free ticket to any other area in the ground (without moving another season ticket Holder). Instead it is a take it or f@@k off if you don't like it to our loyal fans. Personally, I hope the Bournemouth fans have a wasted journey.

Yeah I liked Simon Francis too, but we have to move on.
I don't personally mind, it won't involve me. But as the club seems to be on a nice little earner with this, I hope that any ST holders that are made to move are well compensated.
Unfortunately I can't go to this because one of my wife's friends has decided to have a bloody wedding on that day. When will people look at the Charlton fixture list before they plan such events.
I actually think we've got a good chance of beating them. They're at home to Bolton on Sat, not sure who Boro and Watford have got. Norwich have Rotherham away. I think playing the us of 4 months ago it would've been a walk over. However I'm looking forward to us getting 3pts, I think we can upset the travelling hoards
No trains from Waterloo East to Charlton on the day...only from Victoria & Blackfriers....will make life a little more awkward for the travelling Bournemouth fans.
This is like spending nine months chasing after the girl of your dreams, getting nowhere, then the night before she goes away you let a stranger use your bedroom to shag her.

There's a replacement bus service from Winchester to Basingstoke as well. Tbh at this rate I'd be surprised if more than half dozen turn up before a 12:15 kick off...and two of them will be with me.

Katrien will lead a fleet of Charlton fans in cars to safely ferry the Bournemouth fans to the game, Dunkirk-style.

Sounds like they are going to have a pretty crap journey then, guess most will come by coach or car...might make getting back up to London a tad easier after the game though.
Why don't some of you moaners just think what you would hope for if the positions were reversed ? I desperately want to win this game, but I don't begrudge fans (same as us, just a different colour) the opportunity of being there instead of gazing at a half empty stadium. It should provide the best atmosphere of the season.

Is Simon Francis banned?, or does he escape?.sent off in their last game for two bookable offences.
I'm not directly affected, but like the idea... no axe to grind against Bournemouth.
So I've formed a West Stand Welcoming Committee, and would appreciate volunteers for the following roles:
1. Character actors. Dress up as famous SE London personalities past & present - Henry VIII, the Trotters...er..Jools Holland. Let's give our visitors a flavour of cockernee London - remember, this will be the first time that many of them have visited our nation's capital. Kids required for the role of East St urchins
2. Transfer from station. A fleet of sedan chairs has been hired to ferry their fans round Floyd Road - drivers with clean licences only please! Remember, most people from Bournemouth are aged 70+ and are not very mobile
4. Glee facilitation executives. Mustn't ruin their big day with any of the usual tutting from further along the West Stand. Will be required to ensure all home fans are grinning & politely applauding as Francis crosses for Yann to bury home a header

At least there will be a bit of noise in the West Upper....we will be sitting at the other end (mates got tickets in one of the last 2 blocks) good value for 15 quid and an excellent view.

I assume it's a one match ban unless it's his second sending off of the season
I'm proud of our club for doing this. I would hope clubs would do it for us if the situation were reversed. I normally sit in that section, wouldn't mind moving although cant actually be at the game

Either way we may as well just let Bournemouth wear there home kit while we wear our away kit

Hahaha wouldn't surprise me...
Besides if we win, there's more of them to laugh at.

Unless things change dramtically this weekend, there is a 33% chance that they won't even go up automatically.
For God's sake, look at the table. They're not even top of the league, and we're already handing them the Championship winner's trophy!
