  • Oh no, prepare for the outrage.

Its gonna be a ballache for the ST holders moving, but at the end of the day its a large amount of money to be gained from the extra sales so I dont blame them for doing this.

Dont hold your breath, I'm still waiting for the thanks for Yann.
  • What's that then? Three blocks?

  • To be honest, that section of the ground was going to be packed with Cherries anyway.

“I can’t thank Katrien and Charlton enough for such a gesture of good will to our supporters,” Mostyn told afcb.co.uk. “We have been in conversation ever since the initial allocation was snapped up so quickly, and she has worked miracles to find a way of accommodating us inside a stadium that has season ticket holders dotted throughout.

“Although delighted that we are now in a position at this club to be taking sizeable travelling support to games up and down the country on a regular basis, it is not an ideal situation when loyal AFC Bournemouth fans are left disappointed by not being able to watch the Cherries on the road, and especially the last game of this magnificent season in particular.

“Unfortunately the demand for tickets is always going to outweigh the supply at this point, but every single extra supporter we can get into The Valley on Saturday 2nd May will make a difference to Eddie and the boys in such an important game.”

“We have pledged to cover all the extra costs that Charlton will incur with this process. I ask all our supporters who make the trip to show their gratitude to Charlton Athletic for finding a way to accommodate us, and hopefully we will see a fantastic atmosphere generated by both sets of fans on the day.”

"The extra away fans will be located in blocks P, Q and R - as well as a small part of black N - in the upper tier of the West Stand"

It wasnt long ago Bournemouth were an OK League 2 team who would get 3K at home on average,
so their support is pretty much 75% glory hunters now.
  • Are the season tickets holders in these seats happy about being moved about ?
  • They're still taking the pee out of us after getting Kermorgant on the cheap !

    No.
And that bit about "been in negotiations since initial allocation sold out" is bollocks.
How could my other half buy a ticket for this match in block q if that were the case?
  • so unfair on fans now being forced to move, really hope we stuff them now and they don't go up

I'm not, I might give it a miss now.

Many thanks to #cafc. Didn't have to do it but returned the favour we gave them in 2012 #afcb

Are they forgetting that other favour we did them in 2014???
  • Charlton in bend over backwards for visiting supporters shocker.

I bet WE get kept back after the final whistle. ;o)

What was the reason why Floyd rd was closed to Charlton fans after the game on Saturday?
  • Just so we could be pissed about.
  • You have to charge the price charged to home fans for equivalent seats. So north lower prices are what away fans pay in the Jimmy Seed.

Those ends of the west upper get more pricey as you move centrally for home fans so same as away fans.
  • I really don't care as long as we stop them from getting promoted.
