Quite surprised that not more of us have owned up to being in with home fans when we won 1-0 at Bournmouth in 2012. I was, and was as I'd expect them to be respectful and in no way lording it up. That day we got a late winner after being second best all game. Have to admit that the guy who got me the tickets in their area that day , has asked me to help out. SoI have, and he and his mate are in a home area. I have told them our policy and said they risk being ejected if found to be away fans, however, these are mature men, and I'm sure will play the game.

Nothing wrong with accompanied mates (assuming they are sitting next to you) and a bit of quid pro quo is only fair. Of course, getting you tickets in the anticipation you will reciprocate sounds close to being an offence under the bribery act. I don't suppose either of you are public officials as well are you...
I know Carlisle sealed the deal but Bournemouth near the end of our 1st division season was the game when we sensed it. We had half the stand nearest the open end as it was then. Plus another 500 or so opposite in a home stand. We won the game 1-0 and celebrated because we knew we had cracked it.
The only good thing about any away fans (Bournemouth not dirty Leeds) coming into our end would be some CAFC folk (more critics than fans) might learn what passion is. (For one day only. CAFC fans at Millwall were great until the last few Minutes when depression hit home) Could of used A Block in East stand as they roam anyway ! Plus extra revenue toward our 25 goal a season striker
The irony is you will see loads of the younger guys from Dorset turn up for this match and not the stereotypical image of the retired brigade.
I see some CL are having a go at the cherries, but it sounds like Sour grapes to me (give's me the pip) Not keen on the dodgy Russian money, but so far their players wages must be on about a quarter of the QPR players from last season plus Lewis Grabban transfer to Norwich paid for Wilson. Plus they gave Yann the extra 6 months and 2K more than we would. Also they turned Francis, Arter, Daniels,Pugh into top championship players; that was nothing to do with Money ? That is superb coaching.
f&@k 'em. I still have cringe episodes they way we welcomed the bin dippers at the last game of 2001. Just days after they won the uefa cup and we roll over 4-0 then BDL (of the day) plays YNWA whilst they do a lap of honour.
Got a feeling we won't be on Sky except to show them lift the Championship trophy. They'll be alternating between Norwich and Watford games for the other place. Got a feeling Boro will just be a couple of points off the pace by then. I wish them well in the Prem but don't like to see another side win anything major on our turf at the end of the season.
Hopefully we will have enough stewards to prevent them from an end of match pitch invasion and yes I know we invaded the pitch when we secured promotion.
Went down to the box office to swap seats for this match so I could sit with a mate and asked tor Block Q of the West Upper only to be told the whole block had been reserved. So asked if that block was being handed over to AFCB and the reply was its still under discussion. Watch this space ....

My s/t is in block Q and my other half tried to get seat next to mine but they said it was unavailable. She still managed to get another nearby in the same block though.
Edit. Just spoke to ticket office and it is being considered to relocate us and give Bournemouth part of west.

Good, get the dough in, when I last went down there, we had bits of two stands, they must of mucked about to accommodate us, fair play, reciprocate
Would they have done that for us? I think not. Condition should be that if they don't go up we get as many tickets as we want next season. (Then of course we will be expected to play them at quarter to midnight on a Thursday so it can be televised!)
If our players are up for it from the 1st minute this game has the potential to be an absolute belter. Let's hope we are firing on all cylinders that day.

As stated above, they did the same for us a couple of years back and meant I could get a ticket and see that match
Proper team
