Asked to come in and do a job helping keep the club up in the second half of last season, which he did. And we did not have to spend money training him for eight and a half years to do that role.
Scored a cracking goal against Leeds.
His presence made what would of otherwise been some dull world cup games more interesting and scored Charlton's first world cup goal.
Is going to play in Kuwait (presumably this is financially attractive to the player) any more or less ambitious than a player joining a premier league team never to play unless the first choice goalkeeper is injured?
Disappointed with the whole Reza debacle. He was signed under a fan fair by many - so many saying he was the goalscorer that liege had that we needed! And actually I believe he is a really decent player but he just wasn't strong enough physically and needs to be played through the centre to be effective, preferably next to someone stronger.
The biggest disappointment is his attitude. I assume he pushed for this move? If so, after all he said when joining, this is a shame as he really sounded like he wanted to play in England and test himself.
I wonder if he was bought with a view to selling fairly quickly? We needed new blood desperately at the time so it worked for him to go somewhere which would give him exposure so he could move on. If we make a profit then it's a win for us too.
If he really wants to play elsewhere then I'd rather not have him on the squad. I'm with Big Bob on the 100% commitment or nothing at all stance.
Think this has been on the cards for some weeks now. Although I thought he had potential, physically he was not ready for this league. CAFC will be stronger as hopefully we get a good fee on the back of his WC goal and wages are freed up for a new acquisition.
Was a goner from the second he signed up with us practically, good riddance to him, play for the shirt or you're not welcome. It's crazy in football to know of someone leaving very quick after he signed up, and I did - poor attitude from him and I'm sure the club will shuffle him out the back door rather than celebrate his time here.

Thanks for your contribution Reza and good luck.
I'm a bit disappointed if he is leaving to go and play for a team in Kuwait. He should be aiming to play at a higher standard than that.

Let's hope we get Delort!
I look forward to the club mentioning he has left in the 8th paragraph of their 2018 World Cup preview :-)
At least the goats will keep The Valley pitch in good order.
We move on - with Delort ?
Ebola is on his way to us
