Bad luck Killer.
Thought he battled really well in horrible looking ground - looked like he was going to go on and win it 2 out but the winner clearly had a fair bit left in the tank.
Hope all's OK with him.

All fine Peanuts and I thought he was going to win two out. Olly been in touch and said he hated the track and quick Jumping down back straight which caught him out. Believes 3 mile needed so not sure as regards the final, has to just run in another qualifier now after finishing second today.1

And more of a Becher-type than Grand Sefton...... excellent
All the best next time.1 -
Willie Mullins has plenty of ammunition for Cheltenham!!0

I have made two ante post plays for the Cheltenham Festival and both run today so if both win I shall hold good value bets or even good trading opportunities?
Supreme Novice Hurdle
Appreciate It 100/30
Third Time Lucki 25/1
Runs today
Appreciate It 4/7 Leopardstown 2.10
Third Time Lucki EVS Musselburgh 3.251 -
There's a massive sofa at the two furlong pole, will it get shredded at the end of racing?0

A massive carve up today on the betting front.Singles, doubles and trebles made overnight, all double figured prices now into odds on2/3 have already won with the fav now in the last race into 2/5.
Dont mind bookies taking a bashing but isn’t a good look for racing.1 -
Just watched a video from Bet Victor and the link seems that they are all trained/were trained by 3 stables in Scotland situated quite close together. All horses out of form and have therefore dropped to a very handy mark. The last, was once bought for £260k and races off just 90.0

For those that aren't aware of the horses in question:
Muss 1.00 Fire Away 25/1 in to Evens WON
South 2.35 Blowing Dixie 14/1 in to 4/6 WON
Muss 4.25 Gallahers Cross 33/1 in to 1/2 TO RUN
Lord only knows what bookies' liabilities are going to be hopefully Bob Munro will still have a job tomorrow should Gallahers Cross prevails!
Wealth warning - if you missed the big prices early doors, the worst thing you could do is to take the 1/2 on the last one. Usually one lets such planned gambles down though the perpetrators will have earned themselves a pretty penny already1 -

The bookies could be in trouble as well for not pushing out the prices on the other horses, I think the liability was way off on the Southwell race.0

BHA interviewed all trainers and jockeys before their races. No doubt the bookies will do their utmost not to pay out.0

Last horse is beat comfortably. Comes 4th in a seven runner race.0

Not a tip but a horse I have been following and that is Poetic Force in the Wolverhampton 6.30.
The gelding is 4 from 7 at Wolverhampton and back down to a decent mark. Would be happier if this wasn't a Class 3 and if PF was stepped back up even further in trip but I am convinced that this is an accident waiting to happen! So, at 12/1 (was 16/1) happy to have an interest today. On the nose too because EW isn't really an option given that it is 7 runners so first two only.2 -

Watched the race and it finished well, especially as the jockey was working hard about 3 furlongs out1

No jump racing in the UK tomorrow (12/2), very strange unless all the courses are under water, ice or snow

Perfect ride by David Egan. Probably earned more in that 90 seconds than he has in his entire career!
