I thought West Ham had the best academy in the world. Why would they need one of ours?

If true then soon the media lovies will soon have erased his development at Charlton like they did with Defoe

Would be a strange move. As a Sam Allardyce side don't West Ham usually bypass their midfield?

Twitter saying he's signed for West Ham.

think he'd get a regular game there
  • Must admit I think it's a good move for him... more money, decent chance of getting a run in the side compared to some teams he could join, in the Prem, won't have to move away from his mates etc...

It's a step up whether we like it or not.

The issue I have remains the way in which he left but I think West Ham would be an infinitely smarter move from him than Chelsea or Man City or.... *cough* hahaha *snort.... Barcelona (like that was ever going to happen!)

He will be running about the midfield with considerably less touches of the ball than last season I can tell you that

Somebody hinted on here like a month ago that it would be west ham.

Somebody mentioned that considering who he supports (chelsea) it IRONic the team he is joining

If he is going to a side where he gets games, it's a shit move and he has no ambition.

If he goes to a big club, he is a bench warming greedy fecker.

When he came into the team he played for himself and not the team.

He has shit hair, is a liar, should have signed another deal with us despite us not knowing what his deal was.

I'm getting the hang of this :D

His ambition to go to a prem side I can understand, what I didn't was how much he was hyped, perhaps this supposed underwhelming decision to go to The Hammers shows that all the top sides weren't fighting over him like we thought he was?

I wouldn't mind if he went to West Ham. At least he'd get games there. He might get neck ache watching the ball fly over his head for 90 minutes though.

Gutted if he goes there, however he could have gone elsewhere for more money and it shows he wants to play rather than earn.

Maybe he has re-opened talks with Charlton after other offers didn't materialise : - )

The West Ham tweet was only one person so hardly reliable. West Ham would probably be a decent move for him as he would play. But he's gone now so let's move on, unless he does a U-turn and signs a contract with us

Probably just found out the job seekers allowance is only £57.35 pw as he's under 25.

They'll put him in their Academy and in three years time when he looks really good he will suddenly become a 'Another product of the West Ham Academy!' A bit like Defoe.

I, really, don't care now, he's gone and where he turns up will make little difference to me. However, if he does go to West Ham then that will make some of my earlier comments look a little unfair. If he goes there I fully expect him to get games and I expect him to develop into a better player. It would be difficult to criticise him if he does go there and plays twenty Premier League games next season.

If he has gone the West Ham route like Defoe he might end up at Bournemouth on loan

I believe everything I read in the papers me, I just think he would have had other offers.

Good thing about Wet Spam is they will help teach him much more, Big Sam can teach him how to chew gum in repulsive manner and how to have very little dignity.

I specifically meant was there better offers than West 'Am, not better than what we offered-maybe after all that was the best offer he was, er, offered!
Perhaps Chelsea and Arsenal weren't beating down his door?
How we'd laugh if we ended up playing WHU in a couple of seasons, especially if it's from them coming down.

It's the hype that irks me.

I actually meant I always believed he would end up at Chelsea, even before the rumours started and I do think they approached him. No proof at all, I am and never will claim to be ITK.

No answer to the 'Bromley Addicks' question eh Prague?

    That's the clincher for me.

    @Addickted.

Forgive me if I have not paid sufficient attention to every last word of this thread that you consider important.

However if you could explain WTF you mean by the above remark I will do my best to answer.

It might however have been more helpful if you could have just stated why you disagreed with my remarks...
