I have got over not seeing him on a weekly basis. I can not get over the fact that simon church is now apparently our "best" striker.
Exactly. I'd get over it if it wasn't still rubbed in my face every few days by our pitiful current strikeforce which is relegating us. What a pointless post kev.
for those banging on about people banging on about Kermorgant........people liked him and he's 10000000% better than all the tripe that's left, get over it!
He was getting votes for POTY today. We might need to invite if he finshes in the top 3. Be funny if he won the to award at both clubs. Don't suppose its ever happened before that a player has won the award at two clubs in the same season.
It is not the fact that kermorgant himself had gone, it is that the new regime sold the only decent striker as part of the great break even master plan!
I actually understand what the OP is getting at but think it would have been better worded as 'he's gone and there's f#*k all we can do about it'.
Well if that's your attitude then don't come on the forum cos it's pointless. We've just played 2 vital games in 4 days and didn't look like we could hit a barn door in either of them. The absence of the player who remains our top scorer this season is therefore directly relevant and a critical part of the analysis and discussion in relation to those games. Don't come on a discussion board if you don't want to discuss.
If we do go down it will be on Goal Difference, or by 1 or 2 points. I defy anyone to say that we wouldn't have got those extra goals/points if Yann were still here.
Kermorgant has scored SEVEN goals in his five home games for Bournemouth.
We could not score at all in the five home games against Bolton, Barnsley, Reading, Huddersfield and Burnley.
Says it all really.
All it says is that Bournemouth are a good team that create lots of goalscoring chances. It says nothing at all about us other than we are a poor team & we have been all season.

Suspect Graban has probably got it sewn up in Bournemouth's case

vs Bolton: Shots - 18. vs Barnsley: Shots - 17
Nope, that suggests to me that we need someone that takes the chances that we do make. Not to mention the fact that Kermo used to create a fair few chances by himself - via flick ons and actually taking his man on.
Besides, Kermo was never an out-and-out goalscorer - but he could muscle in and hold up the ball, pushing play further up the field; something we now lack. Combined with someone nippy like Reza, or Obika (his "preferred partner" last year) we could be looking at a whole different picture. Oh, and he could delivery some deadly shots via free kicks.
For the record, I haven't once posted about how much we miss Kermo - but I think it goes without saying that the day we let him go we got weaker.
We have replaced kermorgant with the rip roaring goal scoring reported £800,000 petey pole who is tearing the u21 league apart. Why should we have used that money on this passionless fella.

Disagree, what it says is that selling your best player and top scorer when you are in a relegation scrap is a very stupid thing to do.
Especially when you "replace" him with Polish Pete.

Surely that is what counts. I'm right behind her.
