Just had a phone call, told them I'm not interested, do not want to pay the extra £10. Asked if it meant I had to move and the bloke said not necessarily..... Im going to oppose this as well, this is actually ridiculous, I may not renew, I enjoy my seat, I made friends down there, scared afka away from the seat next to me, its bliss!!! They want to improve the match day experience they can sort the bloody catering out!!
If they honestly think they can sell all those Crossbars seats at £530 a year when they can only sell two thirds of them at £300 a year then they are fucking mental!
Looks like at least 1000 Cross bars STs - how big is this place ?
That's what I was thinking. Some of the best seats in the ground, use them as the premium seats. As for people not wanting to pay extra, sadly your time of having the best seats at the lowest prices has ended, although there will be loads of empty seats there if you want to sneek back in!

I think the assumption is that east and west standers who currently use cross bars will move over. I don't think many, if any, will.
If I want to renew my ticket - in the first six rows of the NU - there is only one price I can pay - £530. It would therefore seem the logical conclusion that I can either renew my current seat at a premium of 180% of this years cost (ridiculous) or I have to move.
Am I wrong ?
I don't understand why it seems like the club are saying one thing, but the poor guys in the commercial centre who are phoning round impacted fans have a different message. You'd think that given how emotive this is there would be absolute consistency in the communications going out.
I get the feeling that if you renew your ST in the first few rows of the NU by the 9th April then you can do so without having to purchase a crossbars tkt, however next season you either will have to buy one or move??.

that's just my impression
That's what I was told on the telephone.
However it doesn't look like that on the website and telephone conversations can be denied. Hence my anxiety and anger if it transpires I was lied to.

If that’s the case then why isn’t the message – “renew before April 9th and we’ll freeze your price, after April 9th we can’t tell you what the prices will be (that’s standard). Oh, and we’re also putting together a great optional package which gives you access to Crossbars, a free programme, drink and whole host of other benefits – come along to a game before the end of the season as our guest and try it out”.

I don't doubt that the paperwork and website graphic is already out of date because they've changed their position. Really, what was proposed is nonsense and was bound to fall apart as soon as it was aired publicly.
Have you ever lusted for 90minutes of sun in your eyes? Ever chuckled at those getting drenched in the front of the east stand but secretly wanted to join in? Then why not share that matchday experience and move to our newly reserved crossbars nobheads block at the front of North Upper and enjoy unparalleled views of next years 'gold class' clashes versus Crawley, Walsall & Chesterfield.

Excuse my ignorance, and someone has probably mentioned this, but surely if you want people to start using bars and food outlets in the ground, then just open the bloody doors to everyone and start selling stuff, and make sure that what you are selling is good quality and keenly priced.
I am a Crossbars member and have been a few years and I wasn't consulted - who exactly was then? I have to make a decision because of my father being unwell and thats pretty much made my mind up - we won't be renewing next season, Crossbars or our season ticket.
"CAS Trust and members of the Fans Forum were invited to give feedback during a consultation exercise, allowing the club to gauge fan opinion."
So what feedback was given Raz if these are the end results ?
Would like to know that too. Who exactly was consulted, about what and when because these plans weren't presented at the last FF meeting as I undertand it.
If the Trust saw these plans in advance did they then agree with them?

It is definitely against your human rights for them to do this to you.
Current ie 2013/4 prices or these newly announced prices? If the latter then what happens after 9 April?

Elwood: I know all about that stuff, I've been exploited all my life...
