The thing is , is that Clarke said we should play Monty in the pre match press conference, partly joking but also trying a bit of reverse psychology. If playing Monty fails miserably ( and i dont like the idea) it will be seen as a stroke of genius from Clarke.
For obvious reasons, Swann's record against right handers as against left handers isn't good. The middle 5 for the Aussies are right handed so, should Monty prove to be a success, could the unthinkable happen and Swann be dropped for the next Test?
