  • Shittu MOM by a mile. Though we would probably not have scored regardless who was playing in central defence.
  • Every fucking time. Hate this club at times.

You ain't got a clue Powell, ***k off

I think I'll swerve this site until the suicide squad have vented their angst.
  • No tactics except pump the ball up to kermy.....lot of huff and puff from Pritchard and Jackson in middle but no creativity....keeper let us down when needed....the free kick was a good strike but he should have got to it.......and first was thru legs...pitch a disgrace.....
  • We really are the laughing stock of south London at the mo. Only the second time I've ever booed, felt guilty the last time bit not today. Utterly embarrassing, everything about today has been.
  • Home form pathetic. Vast majority of home performances pathetic.

1st half two shit teams and had nil nil written all over it.

Second half was woeful. No idea and as soon as they scored we basically gave up. No pattern of play, no final ball. No movement upfront, midfield totally anonymous.

Button getting beaten by that was nothing short of farcical.

  • So apparently haynes turned around and told a fan to fuck off. Hope he gets a major fine the prick

I expected this. Doesn't get any easier to take, but we've never been good against them.

Unfortunately you are right. Over the 50 years I have watched, followed and supported Charlton, we have generally been second best to Millwall and the same problem applies to games versus Palace. I have absolutely no idea why this should be. Perhaps CAFC as an entity has an inbuilt superiority complex when it comes to local derbies and cannot get motivated against 'plebian neighbours'. Whatever the reason(s), it needs sorting.

    Thought as much wanker
  • For 60 min we were edging it out of two poor sides they score heads went down game over

is it the fear factor spreading from our fans to the team?

  • Humiliation once again. Smallwall wankers trying to pick fights on woolwich road right now. Haynes did not look interested from the word go. Jackson and Pritchard at least tried and never hid, no good getting frustrated with players who try. We were the better team but as soon as they took the lead that was it. It hurts and I'm glad we were separated at the end, cos it was humiliating enough in the ground.

mmmm.. could be, but over a very long timespan
  • I'm with Oggy. Nothing went for us. Almost impossible to play football on that pitch, so you just have to take your chances, they did, we didn't. Their two loan signings made yesterday, Chapstow and Easter, made the difference. We need someone to dictate the play in midfield, it's all too frenetic, not enough quality but plenty of endeavor. The amount of running and challenges that Pritchard made was incredible. With someone like Andy Reid we would be a different team as he controls the pace of the game and can pick a decisive pass.
  • From behind the sofa...

    CRAP
  • My summary
HOOF-YANN-NOTHING- repeat for 90 mins- Lose!
  • what is it with us against millwall? 'yeah, they'll be tired from playing on weds night', etc, etc.... they could play a match an hour before playing us and they'd still get a result!!!
    Gutted (again)

the annoying thing was though it wasn't an in your face, up & at 'em Millwall over running & out fighting us- it was a piss-poor, utterly devoid of ideas themselves but taking their only two decent chances Millwall
  • As I have stated for months now we still aren't safe. Powell said form would go out the window. Utter rubbish. That was bang on form. Another loss at home. Keeper looked poor but can't be sure from my angle.
  • Totally fucking unacceptable!!! So fucking angry, 1 point from Palace and Millwall is not on!!!!

  • So many bad decisions at decisive moments today, especially by Haynes. Why not get a shot away, you know you'll get outmuscled by Shittu.

Harriot was culpable as well but had a decent game. Wilson and Kerm free kick was the turning point.

There was fight and determination but no quality. Powell's fault? Nah.

    Predictable.
  • Just to add Haynes was pathetic
  • Gutless performance, pitiful tactics, if Powell can't get his team up for this match, well.............................and I thought we signed a player from Swansea this week, I must have dreamt it.
  • Sorry, it may be the drugs, but, I listened to GLR94.9 BBCLondon and don't remember us having a shot on target.
    Did we ?
  • We didn't.
  • Shame we ain't competing to get the likes of Kevin Phillips and Jermaine Easter at the club, we must be able to offer the same dough as Palace? Either that or we ain't got our finger on the pulse when it comes to quality cheap talent on the market...?
  • Yes we did.
  • i dont normally voice my opinion but I have to say that we looked like a team of individuals with no guts in midfield and I am totally fed up with watching the players heads go down once we go behind at home I just hope we get enough points to stay in this division and hopefully get better players in for next season.
  • We had a shot early in the game. After that nothing
  • I thought it was 3pm kickoff. Not to fussed I missed it to be honest!
    Any action after the game?
