How do you manage to pick up an escort going to Charlton or Palace? Whenever I've been to either ground there hasn't been an escort.
I saw at Lewisham station just after 11am there were about 15 Charlton on the platform drinking, not wearing colours, but already with 4 or 5 old bill, how did they manage to get collared so early?
Lewisham was a flash point back in 2005 when we relegated them, palarse "firm" decided to go and drink in Lewisham next to the biggest police station in London, and were followed there by Charlton firm about 30 minutes later, by this time they were holed up in a pub surrounded by OB, incidents for the next couple of hours, massive OB presence a bit later and they decided to clear all out of the area. No surprise OB keep tabs there and Blackheath.
Always intrigued in why firms have to gather in a pub surely a good row could be found in a park or a road with no CCTV . Do people really actually want to row ?
This thread is the very definition of irony. Palace are scum thugs to a man because once some punched some Charlton people on a train. Charlton are angelic and it was all the fault of the police that there has ever been any trouble with Charlton fans.
And to add to the irony we're harder than you and you are cowards who need police escorts even though you don't see us as your rivals we all know you are.
If that was my wing mirror I would be pretty upset. Wouldn't anybody. Some people need to be aware of acting like responsible adults and what that entails.

DA1 - I think it might have been you that I was with when the copper said to us "Aren't you lads getting a bit old for all of this" as we tried to climb out of the pub garden up to lewisham station?

The club can't do much about who they sell tickets to, short of banning orders and doing checks before they sell a ticket to someone. Modern football grounds are so well covered with CCTV you could film with good close up's 2 nats shagging. So it now falls on Palace to find whoever damaged a few seats that probably had woodworm anyway! Millwall do it at The Valley, Manchester United did it at The Valley, it happens. If you think it doesn't then you must live in some sort of bubble!
As for the policing outside, I mentioned to one copper that it was a disgrace, go to The Valley, which holds more fans and they let you all out. Let you all go where you want after the game and can then spot little bits of trouble and stop it. Saturday, was a case of herd law abiding citizens around and treat them like scum. Some of them are going to bite back...
Personally I thought damaging peoples cars was wrong, smashing the seats up in the ground, not the brightest thing to do. But on the whole there's 6 pages over a local derby with only a few minor altercations.

It happens, I know a Stockport lad who said there were 2 riot waggons outside the spoons up there when you lot were on your way to Bolton...
