MK Dons lost at home to 10 man Yeovil. Yeovil score the winner with their only shot on target.

Sheff Utd losing at, erm ...... Walsall.

    Not just us, then.
  • Can't win 'em all. We'll be back on Saturday. Chris will have them all fired up so I expect us to come out fighting.

At least Sheff U lost too!

@JT they can't win every time.

Ho hum. That was their cup final.

    As Wendy would say.

  • Still going up. Was bound to happen sooner or later.
Reminder to all what's needed from now on. Evidence that current squad will need strengthening next season. Chance to put it right in three days. COYR.
  • Oh well, I'll let you off this one lads. Refocus and back to winning ways Saturday eh?
  • Wonder why we struggle on the Tuesday night games? I'm sad to see our unbeaten home run go down the drain, but I'm not too worried.
  • Not our night - but we have 14 points over SW in third place and there's only 11 games left.

Sadly couldn't make it tonight, gastric flu laid me up for 3 days, so thanks again to @RedMidland for a stirling service. Sounded like we had a decent go but didn't get the rub of the proverbial green. Keeping things in perspective we have remained unbeaten at home for the majority of the season and we have bounced back well from the defeats we have had so far......watch out Notts County!! COYR!!

  • Obviously not at the game. Listened on radio. Sounded like we played ok but it just didn't work out.

To lose your first home game (and only the 3rd league loss of the season) on the 6th of March is very impressive. We have had a brilliant season and the occasional loss is going to happen (even for potential champions).
  • Notts County won again tonight - 6 wins on the spin since their new manager
  • Shit happens

    stats - addicks first-:
    possession...............59% - 41%
    shots on...................10 - 4
    shots off....................6 - 1
    corners......................11 - 2

    GOALS........................ 0 -2

nite lads/lassess sorry its turned out bad...........but we are still 13 points clear of 2nd............14 from 3rd..........15 from 4th and 'whatever' from below............if Utd win their game in hand we will still have 10 point advantage..........onwards and upwards.

Back on Saturday for the County match.

EDIT..........after County match a bit of a respite in games.........time to rest up and push for the title.........we have just played 9 games since 28th Jan.........or 6 weeks whichever way you look at it....thats some going!!!
  • Col u defended well all game. solly was superb again. Can't complain. Roll on Saturday!
  • Before the match we needed to win 9 to secure title, now we only need 8 (I think). So thank you Walsall!

  • "Lost at home, who gives a f*ck? We're Charlton Athletic and we're going up!"

Could be worse. Could be Colchester, stuck in this league for another year.

I suppose you could say it's a good time to lose a game, we've had a great unbeaten run since the start of the year and we lost it at a time when we are clear of the opposition by a country mile. This defeat may have done us a favour...points to prove and all that...roll on Saturday.
  • Notts County won again tonight - 6 wins on the spin since their new manager
    No they didn't 1-1
I missed that 93rd minute equaliser by Tranny

  • Something about Tuesday nights at home doesn't seem to agree with us.

My concern is the centre-midfield. Thought our pairing were second best on Saturday and second best again tonight. They don't seem to be able to dominate the game in the way you would expect from a team 13 points clear. Haynes looked sharp again. Maybe time for him to start on Saturday.

  • I blame Dean Kiely - terrible fumble.....bang goes the home record
  • We were woeful. If you dont force a save from the keeper in 90mins you get whay you deserve. Nowt.

For me, tonight should have seen the startimg XI rotated. We looked leggy at Bournemouth and werent at it tonight.

    Ho hum.
  • Haynes in for Kermo (needs a rest I think) and Russell on for Stephens.

    Thats my saturday change.

We've done well ending teams little runs this season.

Coming up from Cornwall for Notts County game (on my way to Marrakech, but I don't want to gloat).

    My previous games this season:

    Bournemouth (h)
    Hudds (h)
    Yeovil (a)
    Brentford (h)
    Sheff U (h)
    Exeter (a)
    Franchise (h)

    We're gonna be fine.
  • We never really got going, poor refereing and officiating and What was Hamer doing for the goal? Just leat him close him down and then blasted the ball at him. Although were top of the league i do think that Green should be dropped. But ho hum just one of them days fair Play to colchester they defended brilliantly, especially magnus ochungae, roll on saturday
